If you wish to start threads where everyone just agrees with you and the topics aren't open for debate, start your own forum. Until then, realize you are posting in a place where your threads are open for debate and any, and every, part of your post is available for debate.

No, I've critiqued and criticized your actions. I haven't said that YOU are a fool, I've said you've acted in a foolish manner.

I did't say it was not open for debate. What you are doing is off topic. That is not debate. Saying "They do it too" is not debate. It is off topic rhetoric.

You yourself state that "the primary point is that liberals are constantly claiming that conservatives are too ignorant and or stupid to really understand."

It's certainly relevant to understand if conservatives make the same claims about liberals.

 Both sides do it. It is not one-sided, Democratic Party only behaviour.

So now political conservatives can say they are "more informed" when it comes to the news. I wish that helped make em nicer, more Christlike people.

Exactly. Political conservatives think politcal liberals are uninformed and stupid for believing the way they do. And political liberals think political conservatives are wrongly informed by Sean, Rush and Fox News and stupid for believing the way they do.

You are such a hoot Rev. You bring much laughter to my life and laughter is good for our health.

The 0.7 is relevant as that is what the pole shows the margin of difference to be. That margin is nothing as just about any pole I have ever seen has a margin of error of 2 to 4. What you are trying to argue is meaningless as in reality there is no difference.

Of course it also depends on the questions asked. They can be biased to favor one side or the other.

Sorry Rev. but you have posted nothing of value in the OP.

It also has to do with who even bothers to take the pole in the first place. I doubt the academic elite of our country are spending time taking "intelligence quizzes" on the internet.

Not to mention it's a 12 question quiz! Certainly not something comprehensive enough to judge someone's "News IQ".

. Indeed. Unfortunately, I vote Republican so I'm not helping the cause very much.

"Because of the opprobrious epithet "liberal," today they call themselves “moderates.” A skunk by any other name still stinks!"
