You quoted it even if you didn't realize it. Look back to what you said:

    You quoted Mat.7:21 here.

This statement is not adressing salvation.

This is refering to being a fruitfull, profitable diciple of Christ.

Salvation requires nothing other than faith in Christ.

All Christians don't keep his commandments.
Here is an example of what Washer says:
    http://www.sohmer.net/media/How_Do_You_Know_You_Are_Not_a_Counterfeit_Christian.pdf
Page 3 of 6 A Synopsis of Paul Washer’s sermon, How Do You Know You’re Not a Counterfeit Christian?

Go back and do a search on worldliness and other related topics.
What we should watch on TV?
What kind of jokes we should or should not tell?
What kind of clothes we should wear--no pants or jeans on women--only skirts and dresses below the knees. Right?
What our talk should be like; our conversation?
What our behavior should be like--places we should go to or avoid?
The music we should listen--CCM come to mind?
And most of all agree what is called "worldiness" I am sure that we all agree on this. Right.

If you don't agree with Washer; if you fit into these categories; then friend you are not saved, even if you did ask "Jesus into your heart."

    And that is not Scriptural.

    Well, keep trying.

Obviously those in the kingdom are saved, and those without are not.

I'd suggest taking a look at D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones "Studies on the Sermon on the Mount" and maybe Robert Harris "The Way to true Happiness."

Surely the Lord here speaks of those saved and those who are not, so you are incorrect that it is not dealing with those who are and who are not under true salvation.

I really can't believe you wrote that. You are wrong in just about every particular. Matt 5:20. "For I say to you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

    Nothing to do with salvation?

You have the right to your opinion. Now provide evidence. Demonstrate the plan of salvation using only the sermon on the mount. If what you say is true, then you should be able to do that.

    Washer is correct.

Nowhere do the Scriptures talk of praying a prayer of asking Jesus into our hearts.

That's man-made easy-believism. "Say this prayer and ask Jesus into your heart and you're saved."

    Not quite. It's false teaching.

Show me where this is taught in the Bible, this "ask Jesus into your heart."

Also, his denouncement of those just like the world is right on track. You? You're defending an un-holy walk which is against Scripture.

No wonder so many think "they've" "led someone to the Lord", (to say a prayer), and yet they never darken the door of a church, nor do they have a desire to attend church, nor to know the Lord.

In context, who is the author speaking to, and what is the kingdom of heaven?

And this is no better than Hinduism and many other false religions:
DO the above and you shall be saved.

The message of Christ is salvation is by grace through faith.
The message of Washer is through works, just like all the other religions of the world.

You've been provided evidence. Also from Steven. (Marprelate)

I think perhaps you should actually sit down and read the Sermon? That would be more evidence.

It most definitely and specifically deals with salvation.

You're completely wrong here, which is not abnormal mind you.

Washer never said do the above and be saved. YOU did.

He's saying these aren't marks of regeneration.

    And he's correct.

Get your facts straight and actually understand context and what the meaning is before you comment. This is why you make fallacious statements consistently.

This is simply an admission that you cannot give the plan of salvation through the sermon on the mount. If you have previously shown me then provide a link to said post. Otherwise provide evidence for your claim.

That's right. So if you listen to CCM or the women wear pants then they are not regenerated. Simple logic. That is what LS teaches. It is a religion of works.

Praise God for Paul Washer! Somebody needs to be preaching the truth about worldliness. And he is right on the button Scripturally. Read 1John- the whole of it, but particularly 2:15-17. If there is no changed life then there is no New Birth. If there is no New Birth there is no salvation.

What we should watch on TV? Phil 4:8.
What kind of jokes we should or should not tell? Eph 5:4
What kind of clothes we should wear--no pants or jeans on women--only skirts and dresses below the knees. Right? 1Tim 2:9
What our talk should be like; our conversation? Col 4:5-6
What our behavior should be like--places we should go to or avoid? Eph 5:18; 1Tim 6:11; 2Tim 2:22

I agree only partially with what you say. Washer says these things must happen at the time of regeneration. He leaves no room for growth or sanctification. He denies the truth taught in 1Cor.3:1-5 that there are carnal Christians. New believers don't become adults over night. There must be a period of growth.

    Freeatlast...

The christian life is not to by lawkeeping, but rather by faith.

No christian who has ever lived has kept Gods commandments. Not the entirety of them, or even just the 10. We respect them, and we want to keep them, we try to keep them, but we do not. We do not keep them.

The purpose of the commandments is to cause us to become aware of our wretchedness..so that we will come to our senses and turn to Gods grace, rather then pridefully continue on with the charade....

    To the scriptures...

    One more time.

Washer never stated these were necessary for salvation. You did.

    Another straw man from yourself.

    The "plan of salvation?"

If you can't find salvation and a message to preach this from within the Sermon on the Mount you need to stop preaching altogether.

Like I said, you need to actually read it. Perhaps take this passage to your pastor and have him help you?

Like I've said all along, you're a proponent of easy-believism.

    :)
