    It was her desire to write one a day.

    So knowing that she lived a very long time, there is no doubt she wrote not just thousands but possibly 20,000 or more.

    She would also write using other names as the author and so the total is very hard to calculate.

    She was not wealthy by any consideration, was taken advantage of (imo) by the publishers of that day, spent a great amount of time in the rescue missions working with folks and giving testimony of Christ, was not a person that was all that easy to live with, was uninterested in fame but most interested that folks know Christ, and not totally blind because she could (if the light glinted off the water in a certain manner) catch a fleeting glimpse of color. She was a woman of remarkable character and strength in purpose and prayer, but never thought of herself as special or to be puffed up.
