Luther.. The movie.

    In another thread Luther was mentioned about the reformation. This brought to mind the movie my Church showed last night, Luther. If anyone has ever been interested in the reformation, this is a great movie. I know it is a hollywood movie, but all in all, they did a great job. I highly recommend showing this 2 hr. movie in your Church some Friday night or Sunday evening. We had about half of the 30 or so audience being kids from 8 to 14 and all were mesmerized. We have faith based movies shown about every couple of weeks and they seem to be a big hit. You won't be let down by this movie.

    Is it the old black and white classic? If it is, I can't tell you how many times I've watched it and each time, I left encouraged by the courage of Luther.

    This was an awesome movie! I seen this, and at some climactic moments the audience broke into applause. This was at a secular movie theater. I was so happy.

    ==Luther is a very good film. While it does, at time, take some small historical license the movie remains faithful to the history of Martin Luther. I wish they had used an actor that looked more like Luther.

    I haven't seen the 2003 version, but I so love the Black-n-white classic that I've watched it innumerable times. Yea, CBD. :thumbs: $1.99.
