Support Huckabee all you want but if he became president I predict that you will regret it after four years.

HisHolySpace Endorses Mike Huckabee for President

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill., Nov. 14 /Christian Newswire/ -- Jeff Broderick, owner of HisHolySpace.com (The fastest growing Christian Social Network) has announced he is endorsing Mike Huckabee for the 2008 Presidential Election. Jeff Broderick has found himself scratching his head asking the question "Why on earth would anyone of the Christian faith even consider endorsing anyone else?"

This announcement comes shortly after Pat Robertson announced his endorsement for Rudy Giuliani. "Why would Pat Robertson decide to endorse someone who clearly stands for Pro-Choice and Gay Rights, both of which the Bible forbids" Jeff Broderick questions. "More than ever this country needs a leader who stands firm upon values and morality. Yes economics, foreign affairs, and the war on terror are all extremely important, but Mike Huckabee is at the top when compared to the other candidates in these categories as well."

Jeff Broderick has made clear that as the owner of the fastest growing Christian social network, he will continue to show his endorsement toward Huckabee, by posting latest news articles and videos of Huckabee's stand on Human rights and politics. The owner of HisHolySpace.com has also stated he feels the only reason many other Christian conservatives have not stepped up with their endorsement is simply a money issue. They feel since Huckabee does not have the deep pockets that some of his opponents have, they are choosing pragmatism over their Christian values. "I do not know how anyone who is truly a follower of Christ, could look at the options available and come close to an endorsement of anyone but Mike Huckabee" Jeff Broderick added.

For more information on Jeff Broderick's stance for Mike Huckabee go to www.HisHolySpace.com/mikehuckabee or http://www.presidenthuckabee08.com

Local evangelicals endorse presidential candidate Huckabee

Mike Huckabee picked up endorsements in his presidential campaign from local Christian conservatives Thursday — a move he said is being repeated around the country and is a better indicator of evangelical support than the high-profile endorsements his Republican opponents are getting.
Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas, was endorsed by Joseph Fuiten, pastor of Cedar Park Church in Bothell, and 29 other evangelical-faith community leaders from the area.

As far as the list goes Matthew Staver is not a "so-called conservative" he is the real thing. I do not kbnow about the rest but it sure seems easy to demonize those that disagree with you even though you know nothing about them other than they support a candidate that does not support your twisted political view.

It is amazing the audacity you have to claim "conservatism" given your quite liberal views. But then libertarians do not seem to know what one is.

"If you analyze it I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism." - Ronald Reagan

I would have to disagree with your statement that Ronald Reagan didn't know what conservatism is, with your statement that Ronald Reagan had liberal views, and with your statement that Ronald Reagan had a twisted political view.

I supported Ronald Reagan down the line on political issues. I don't recall a single piece of his political philosophy that I disagreed with. Which is not surprising since he was to a very large degree a libertarian and had lots of libertarians in his administration.

There is othing conservative about legalizing abortion, prostitution, or drugs that destroy society as a whole. And it is doubtful that Ronal Reagan would ever take part in the irresposnible rhetoric that you support with regards to the current war. These are liberal values and have no place in a God fearing civilized society. These were not Reagan positions.

Interstingly he played a big role in expanding the war on drugs. He also was willing to raise the deficite to expand our military and create a Star Wars program. These are not Libertarian positions.

There was some difference between Ronald Reagan's political philosophy and some of his actions as president.

He also raised taxes and that is not a conservative/libertarian thing to do.

In most of his political philosophy Ronald Reagan was a libertarian. Therefore, when you bash libertarianism you are also bashing most of Ronald Reagan's political philosophy.

then this is quite problematic for your previous claim that you supported him right down the line. If I recall correctly you are quite criticle for the current President to claim to be conservative but fail to act5 as such. And yet it appears you hold President Reagan to a much different standard as you readily admit his claimed philosophies and his actions did not line up.

Makes me wonder why you want to tie yourself to a man that said one thing and did another but then criticize the current President for doing the same thing.

Please read more closely. I said, "I supported Ronald Reagan down the line on political issues. I don't recall a single piece of his political philosophy that I disagreed with." I did not say that I agreed with all of his actions as president of these United States.

Maybe it is you who should read what I said more carefully. You want to align yourself with supporting his politcal issues but he acted contrary to those you supported. Those cannot be seperated just to remain in alignment with Reagan. This is similar to Clinton double speak and really quite liberal.

Seriously, and as a friend, I think that you would benefit greatly from reading Barry Goldwater's The Conscience of a Conservative. What passes for conservatism today is not what conservatism was during its comeback in the 1950s-70s.

You assume without any evidence that I some how support much of the current situation among those who claim to be conservative today. You are incorrect. What I do support is the correct position that libertarians such as ronnie are not anywhere close to being conservative.

Let me be clear. I currently have no candidate to support which includes Huckabee. They have all become spineless coards who are running not to lose rather than running to win except Guiliani and Thompson. Guiliani is a liberal as he does not support conservative social issues. And Thompson holds to many consrvative principles on both side but has lost his way on abortion.

Well, Timmy, if Ron Paul was not a libertarian on enough issues I wouldn't be supporting him.

I can't remember how long ago it was, but when I was listening to Rush Limbaugh one day (it was during Huckabee's governorship in Arkansas), I heard Limbaugh express disappointment in the governor for becomming irate with the state legislature. Apparently the legislature was trying to require proof of citizenship in order to get an Arkansas driver's license, and Huckabee was opposed to it.

I know that Huckabee is saying all the right things now concerning securing the borders, illegal immigration, and opposing the establishment of a North American Union, but this demonstrates a flip-flop from his actions as a governor.

I wish that I could be enthusiastic about a Huckabee presidency, but I am afraid that he's just a Bush clone with "New World Order" written all over him. In my oppinion he would trade his office as president for perhaps a more elite or permanent position in the North American Union.

    Two more endorsements:

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee Announces Faith Endorsements from Zig Ziglar and Jerry Jenkins

    November 19, 2007

Little Rock, AR – Former Arkansas Governor and Presidential Candidate Mike Huckabee announced today that Zig Ziglar and Jerry Jenkins have joined the growing list of endorsements from members of the faith community.

“These two men are giants in their field and I’m proud to have their support,” Huckabee said. “Zig has taught me a great deal about effective leadership and Jerry’s writings have truly inspired me and deepened my faith.”

Zig Ziglar is an internationally acclaimed motivational speaker/ teacher who has written 26 books. He is founder of Ziglar, Inc, which is built upon the same philosophy he expounds to his audiences – hard work, common sense, fairness, commitment and integrity. Ziglar is an active member of Prestonwood Church in Dallas, Tex.

“I’m excited to be supporting Mike Huckabee for president of the United States. I’ve observed him throughout his political career and believe he is the best representative of the conservative movement on the American political scene,” Ziglar said. “I will be encouraging all voters to look closely and seriously at Mike Huckabee, the man I believe will best represent the values and beliefs of conservative Americans.”

Jerry Jenkins is a New York Times bestselling author of more than 170 books. He owns the film making company, Jenkins Entertainment, and the Christian Writers Guild. He is former vice president of the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago and now serves on its board of trustees. In 2003 he was named for the second straight year as the forty-second most powerful person in entertainment by Entertainment Weekly.

“This is the first time I have ever publicly endorsed a candidate, that's how strongly I feel about Mike Huckabee,” Jenkins said. “I resonate with his values and personal character and believe he is the kind of man who can guide the country through difficult times.”

Governor Huckabee Named One of Hunting and Fishing's 25 Most Influential People

NEW YORK, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Outdoor Life, one of the largest outdoor magazines in the world with an audience of more than 5.5 million readers, has named former Arkansas Governor and 2008 Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee one of the 25 most influential people in hunting and fishing. Huckabee was the only presidential candidate from either party to make the magazine's list, the "Outdoor Life 25," honoring influential sportsmen. The article appears in the magazine's December/January 2008 issue, which hits newsstands on November 20.

    (Logo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20071119/NYM106LOGO)

The magazine lauded Huckabee's conservation work on behalf of sportsmen during his Arkansas governorship. Huckabee, an avid angler and hunter, helped pass Amendment 75, "The Conservation Amendment," months into office. Approved in 1996, the amendment pumps approximately $26 million into the coffers of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Outdoor Life also sited Huckabee's work to improve public access for hunters and anglers and his kids' fishing initiatives as additional reasons he was named to the Outdoor Life 25.

With over 29 million Americans classifying themselves as outdoorsmen, the group represents nearly one-third of the nation's potential vote. Sportsmen, who historically tend to vote based more on the issues, than on party affiliation, were a much courted demographic during the 2004 presidential election. Issues such as conservation, Second Amendment rights, and the candidates' personal histories as hunters and fishermen play a pivotal role in shaping the minds of outdoorsmen in November.

"We started the Outdoor Life 25 because we wanted to recognize high- profile and grassroots individuals who have had the most positive impact on hunting and fishing," said Todd Smith, Editor-in-Chief of Outdoor Life. "Mike Huckabee is a perfect example of someone making a difference. He put his shoulder behind a special conservation amendment that now pumps millions into the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission annually. Those dollars are directly helping to make hunting and fishing opportunities in his state even better."
