Man fired for wearing Bush sweatshirt @ Obama rally...

    Keep in mind...we're not even talking George W. Bush. And we're not even talking about his campaign--rather the ship named after Bush 41. But hey...in the Wonderful World of Union Labor, gotta head off that pesky idea of "free speech," or "thoughts that disagree with the Union Position (or more succinctly said, "Be Democrat or Else.")

    Man, are some people stupid. And angry as well.

    Hope this guy gets paid for his troubles. And kudos to his son for serving--protecting the freedoms of folks who don't even appreciate it.

    I think that's a dumb reason to fire someone, but if it is at-will employment then the employer has that right.

    Actually since he is a union member there is a written employment contract - so it is not an at-will employment situation.

    The union has apologized and he was paid for the day.

    The union foreman that fired him off the job was in the wrong.

    Wow, for a union official to apoligize...
    but He should still accept the job at Fox if offered.
