This will probably only be up on the web site for a few hours.

Pic of Pres. Bush when he took office next to pic of Pres. Bush now. :(

This poor man has the weight of the world on his shoulders.

Thought some of you might want to check this out:

In case these side-by-side pics are taken down soon, here they are by themselves.

Pres. Bush when he took Office - 2 years ago

    Pres. Bush currently

A lesser man would have collapsed under the pressures of 09/11. :(

I'm thankful for him even though I don't agree with everything he does. My prayers are with him. These are, indeed, sobering times. [IMG]

    Wow,
I do not agree with everything he has done; however, I appreciate the job President Bush has done. I cannot imagine the weight of responsibility he, or any other person who is president, must operate under.

I teach elementary school and sometimes taking care of little children seems like a lot of responsibility, but when I think about making decisions that could involve the deaths of thousands of people, my job seems incredibly easy.

It's been said that the office of president ages a man ten years for every four served. It's an incredibly stressful job, as I'm sure we'll all aware.

As for me, I'm a man of 37 with no grey hair ;)

It is important to note that in one, President Bush was made up for the camera; in the other, he was not.

    It's a different bloke. "Dubya" died and this is a look-alike replacement a-la Paul McCartney ;) ;)

You'll be bald first. And you know where you caught that disease.

Don't forget that in the left picture, Bush is in television make-up and under "ideal" lighting conditions. In the right, he's outside, with no make-up; also, judging by the shadows on his arm and glove, the sun is behind him, which might tend to make his hair look lighter.

Besides, premature greyness might be in his genes. Remember, Barbara Bush is younger than George Sr., but she looks years older because of her hair. Hey, I'm only 32, and I'm going slightly gray in the beard and temples.

[IMG] </font>[/QUOTE]Johnv, heh heh yeah mate, I was almost going to mention that, but figured the exact details that led to that scenario would (hopefully) not apply to Dubya as it did his predecessor..

This brings to mind all the jokes about Ronald Reagan's hair. "Does he or doesn't he? Only his hairdresser knows for sure." [IMG]

If raising teen-agers can turn your hair gray, I'm sure being President can too!

A lot of people color their hair. It's okay with me if President Bush uses L'Oreal.. he's worth it! [IMG]

I think the difference was that one picture is taken outside in natural light, while the other one is taken inside in professional lighting? I saw him last night on television, and his hair looked very much like the inside picture taken a couple of years ago.
