    The White House Office of Management and Budget projects that in the current fiscal year (2011), mandatory spending alone will exceed all federal receipts.

    Congress is arguing over a mere $60 billion cut!!!!!

    Simplistic and untrue.

    We would still be paying out more in entitlements than we are taking in, even if we completely eradicate the DOD.

    While I agree that we should bring them home, you can't possibly think that what is spent on overseas adventuring accounts for even close to the insane amount of federal spending.

    I will make a correction for you:

    Bring all the troops home.
    Phase out Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.
    Repeal Obamacare.
    Get rid of the departments of Homeland Security, Education, Energy, Agriculture.

    Problem solved.

    What you want is a disolving of national deficit spending----------this is what I tell my wife all the time--------when the checkbook gets down to ZERO------------you stop spending---period----until next payday!!

    Is this what you're telling us---------take away the government's credit cards????????????
