You heard it here; and you heard it first. I don't know when that generated crisis Biden is speaking about will surface, BUT, I can assure you that BHO will fail the test miserably. That's why Biden wants America to stand behind them, NO matter what??

This will be the first time in my life [should the angry, not so bright of this this nation get Obama elected] that I will not be proud to be an American. It will also be the first time that I will not refer to the president as "my president." You don't know how much this aches and pains my heart, but, how can I stand behind and support a president that has lied and manipulated his way to the top job in this nation.

If I were able to physically and financially able to move to Canada and become a Canadian citizen, I would do it on November 5th.

I can safely predict that things are going to go from "Bush bad" to Obama terrible.

My prayers are for God's will in this nation, and I firmly believe that God will put the right man in office. McCain's victory signals to me that God is still on the side of this nation. But, Obama is God's righteous judgment of this nation, and I see an Obama victory as the beginning of God's last warning to America to get it right. Obama means this nation is being punished, and He will punish us through Obama who has been sent to chastise the people of this once proud nation. When I say chastise, I mean Obama will be so bad as POTUS, that come the next general election, people will overwhelmingly vote Obama out of office.

I can only hope that God gives us one more chance, and miraculously gets McCain elected.

    Shalom to all,

    Pastor Paul:type:

So if McCain wins it's God's Will but if Obama wins it's God's judgment and punishment.

Wow RD, this is low even for you. I know you don't like Obama but to call him God's punishment is simply a low accusation to make.

If Obama wins it will be the people's mistake and the nation's further decline into socialism.

George Bush has already lead us down that path by nationalizing banks, mortgage companies and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. I suppose that's what you meant by "further."

Way to go BB! Don't address the issue, but try to deflect to Bush failings.

Seems you libs can't get it in your head that Bush is not running, so whether he fouled up as you state or not in not germain to this discussion.

The decision to make now, IE: in Nov, IOW the next election (the one that Bush is not a candidate - get it?), is whether you want a liberal, or a flaming liberal.

Nothing to do with Bush; understand?? His term is over soon, never to serve as POTUS again.

I predict that after the first nuclear attack on our nation under the inept Obama administration, people will be crying they wish GW was back in office. Even some of these libs here. Of course, we won't know it, because the Internet will probably be down if that unthinkable thing happens, which all experts say it will, it's just a matter of when.

Make sure you have your emergency supplies ready. There is a sticky at the top of this forum about emergency preparedness. I need to revisit that myself.

Too bad BB beat me to it, but government bought in to private business before Obama got elected (if he makes office). So don't blame him for the direction of the bus. Let's just hope he can turn it around...

Another assinine comment from the left. What a horrible thing to say. Where's all this Christian love you were chiming in about on the other thread, like love your enemies.

PS: If your comment was meant to be funny, it wasn't. What a horrible thing to say no matter who is in the office.

I bet you laughed LE. Go on and admit it and stop trying to play victim after some of the stuff you've said.

It was clear that was a joke...

Is the United States so big and important that God doesn't rule and put in office those He chooses? If so, should you not pray for the one who wins the election regardless of how you feel personally? Surely you would not fight against God, pastor. I agree that Obama, if elected will no doubt enact liberal policies, but considering the way the people in our country act, this may be better than we deserve. The U.S. is on a downhill slide and nothing will stop us on our way to ruin. It's only the grace of God that we have lasted as long as we have, considering our treatment of the unborn and our acceptance of Sodomy!

What was it that God told Josiah? Though Josiah was a godly king of Judah, God did not spare Judah and used Nebuchadnezzar as his chastening rod. Because the people were "Far from" Him. Josiah would be killed in battle and his son Jehoichim(?) ruled as a wicked king and was captured and led into captivity with his sons. It was there that Nebuchadnezzar disemboweled Jehoichim's sons before his eyes. Then Nebuchadnezzar had Jehoichim's eyes put out.

The people of this nation elect their leaders out of the lusts of their hearts and not out of love for their nation, this God will judge. :praying:

May God have mercy on us all!

What does the NT say about goverhments. Seems somewhere Paul says that God put them there. I've never liked that verse.

Kings and Emperors ruled in the day of Paul. When Paul said to obey the powers that be, he was speaking of them. In our system the ultimate power is with the people and overall the people of this land have lost their way. We will get the leaders we deserve and as such some leaders will be taskmasters brought in by God to chastise.

Oh well, It is yet the Word of God.

Figures.... IN many many threads the Right has said we are to respect the office, respect whoever is in the office, it's from God...

And Yet NOW, if Obama gets elected it's not about respect so much as we are to believe it's God's judgement...

Your hate for Obama really is showing... btw, if Obama gets elected it will be by the will of God, for the good of God and we should pray for him to lead this nation well... that goes for McCain also.. pray for our leaders no matter who they are.

Whoever wins, it will be a decline of this nation... no one person can stop it and until we wake up it won't change...

Obama/McCain they are both the same....

Isn't it interesting that, while studying the OT, God did not judge the people while a wicked king was on the throne (although the people did suffer when attacked by an enemy say, Syria). However God did judge both Israel (north) and Judah (south) by total annihilation when the sin of the people became full.

Kinda reminds me of the Clinton years then we are hit with 9/11/01. Now what will happen when our people vote their lusts and the next POTUS will bring in judges that will allow abortion on demand and gay marriages? This is the question that everyone must ask themselves. Do we trust God or do we trust government?

A vote for Obama is a vote for universal health care, wealth redistribution, gay rights and murder of unborn children. Total government control over our lives by hand outs.

A vote for McCain will still be a vote for many of the same things, however he has promised that abortion will be limited and judges will be appointed that will not legislate from the bench.
