Sonjeo thank you for your post it is very well
thought out...the rove issue is still very much
alive although most of the media is now focused
on Judith Miller actually going to jail.

The New York times said it was Rove who released
or Roves lawyer Matt Cooper from his obligation.
Rove is trying to funnel this into a perjury charge.

Welcome to the board and look forward to your posts and as you can tell you get a lot of knee
jerk reactions..which is the reality of the elbows
in here but sooner or later even they must answer
the questions or they really look impotent of
discussion. Just ask them what they mean and they
may actually post a few more grunts! ;)

Yes, the prosecution of which will begin right after the prosecution of 80% of the senators on the Democrat side of the aisle, and a handfull of Republicans that have taken up arms with the radical leftists, against America.

</font>[/QUOTE]You ignore the deceptive, secretive, destructive nature of this administration. If you are old enough, you have seen in history what men will do to retain power. You have seen this administration deceive an entire nation in order to invade another country without provocation. We know the litany. The Bush administration has an evil assumption of a righteous cause and it allows them to believe they can do what it takes to accomplish it but their fruits reveal the truth. They believe control of Iraq is primary in their righteous cause and if it means avoiding the complete breakdown of public support for their cause in Iraq they will do what it takes to control the public mind and support. The possible charge of treason against Rove and it's connections to Bush would be a critically serious blow to this administrations public support putting Bush's approval rating easily down into the 30's and would seriously endanger and unravel the remaining support for our continued presence in Iraq. By diverting attention away from Rove this time, they are avoiding a major breakdown of public opinion. You should know better than to believe all that your leaders say and all of what you hear in the media. They only allow you to see and hear what they want you to. The power and money trail winds all around behind the scenes and you follow that to really understand what is going on. I mean, did you really think they wanted you to know?

If we are not allowed to see it or hear it and it's behind the scenes, then how do we know it or follow it?

Leaders often say they are doing one thing but do the results of what we see, that is, the picture presented to us make sense? Do the pieces really fit together? Does the discernment of God tell you something is not right? Are perhaps men doing something for money instead of for the higher reasons they would have you believe. This is behind the scenes of the media's presentation to you, of course, but with effort we can investigate it enough to see whether the dots connect, or whether the pursuit of money is really behind it all.

How do we know which of the alternative explanations to believe? How do we know if those offering alternative explanations are also motivated by money or other reasons and may be presenting a false view for their own purpose(s)?

In your heart you have to want to see the truth of it. Frankly, you have to, on a certain level, disconnect yourself from any self-interests in the world and be willing to put the truth above all else. Then we can legitimatly use the discernment of God in going through all these things or that is alternatives as you say. Use God's wisdom not forgetting the nature of man in these matters. Look at all the alternatives of information and analyze it. Where money is concerned often statistics don't lie but of course you can always double check those. Inevitablely everything you know you have read or heard from someone else. God gives us wisdom but where the world is concerned we all have to depend on some external source of information. Some people try to sound like experts but of course they are getting information from something they heard or read so it is sometimes humourous to hear people sound so sure they are right as if they were there experiencing and seeing all with their own eyes and ears. We are all in this same boat except that as Christians we are provided discernment and wisdom which we can use to go through all this information to distill what is really going on. Man's motive in pursuit of money is a fairly consistent factor in this world. When you testing for what is happening you should always test against that.

That is quite a serious charge you have made here. What evidence do you have that they are giving "aid and comfort" to the enemy?

Are you serious? Every time they get on TV, and the liberal media loves their soundbites, they talk down the President, through lies and innuendoes, not caring a wit about truth or American patriotism. They give aid and comfort to the enemy every time they attack President Bush.

Senator Richard J. Durbin's attack on the military at Abu Garib, to discredit President Bush is a good example of giving aid and comfort to the enemy, with no concern for America's military's welfare.

So there is a fly on the wall after all!:

You do not have to be a fly on the wall to see through all the imagery. One will never see anything if he remains asleep with his head stuck in the safety, contentment sand of life around himself because he is afraid that if he should ever discover the truth his life would fall around him. God is your foundation. A fly on the wall, lol. You know what we need is a good Judas in this administration to come out and blow the whistle. Another Ed Meese.

    Breaking News! on Rove

    07.09.2005 David Corn

Explosive New Rove Revelation Coming Soon?
Time to get ready for the Karl Rove frog-march?

I don't usually log on Saturday evenings. But I've received information too good not to share immediately. It was only yesterday that I was bemoaning the probability that -- after a week of apparent Rove-related revelations--it might be a while before any more news emerged about the Plame/CIA leak. Yet tonight I received this as-solid-as-it-gets tip: on Sunday Newsweek is posting a story that nails Rove. The newsmagazine has obtained documentary evidence that Rove was indeed a key source for Time magazine's Matt Cooper and that Rove--prior to the publication of the Bob Novak column that first publicly disclosed Valerie Wilson/Plame as a CIA official -- told Cooper that former Ambassador Joseph Wilson's wife apparently worked at the CIA and was involved in Joseph Wilson's now-controversial trip to Niger.

"Nothing in the Cooper e-mail suggests that Rove used Plame's name or knew she was a covert operative....

A source close to Rove...added that there was "absolutely no inconsistency" between Cooper's e-mail and what Rove has testified to during his three grand-jury appearances in the case. "A fair reading of the e-mail makes clear that the information conveyed was not part of an organized effort to disclose Plame's identity, but was an effort to discourage Time from publishing things that turned out to be false," the source said, referring to claims in circulation at the time that Cheney and high-level CIA officials arranged for Wilson's trip to Africa."

Thus, the haters of Karl Rove are disappointed once again. [IMG]

Maybe I'm retarded but I don't understand any of this story.
