I am getting ready to start the application/enrollment process for Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (masters program) and would really appreciate your prayers. I am going to aim for either Christian Education or Church Planting. Anyway, I am really needing prayer on how to pay for the classes. I would also be willing to listen to any advise that you have for me.

    In Christ,
    Jason

Very glad to hear that you will be taking classes at MBTS! Take as many classes with Dr. Don Whitney as you can!

    1) Have you made an appointment with the financial aid officer yet? That is the first thing to do!

    2) Has your home church offered any help? Have you asked them?

I agree with Rev. G. The first thing to do is check with the financial aid office. Also see if you local assocaition or state convention offers scholarships. I'll keep you in my prayers.

When I was attending seminary, I had some financial help from my home state, as well as from one or more of the churches I attended.

But, for the most part, I worked full time. Praise God I didn't have a family, though, because I was already strapped for time.

Best wishes for you at Midwestern. I love visiting there. Where did you do your BA?

Plus you can pay $5 and see Royals games! PS I love Chillochotte, I live just up 65 in Iowa and went to SBU in Bolivar for my Master's.

I can't imagine paying any more than that for a Royals game. [IMG]
