Trying to associate killers, white supremacists and the tea party it would seem.

Headline: "Las Vegas cop killers may have white supremacy links:"

"The newspaper's report also said the shooters covered the officers' bodies with something featuring the Revolutionary War-era Gadsden flag. The yellow flag, which contains an image of a coiled snake and the words "Don't tread on me," is associated with the conservative Tea Party political movement."

So are you saying there AREN'T any killers or White Supremacists associated with the Tea Party for 100% certainty?

It's politics and that's what both sides try to do: sully the other. There are killers and White AND Black Supremacists associated with the Tea Party, the Democrat Party and the GOP. So it wouldn't surprise me to find out that there is a bit of truth in the story.

    It is possible.

Did the story mention the Tea Party at all? Or are we making an association about what the person who wrote the story is doing?

Read the original post, am I?

General sweeping statement without any proof - footnotes are always nice.

Again, read the original post the quote mentions the tea party does it not?

If you have something to say, try saying it instead of trying to make the op look silly. You show your lack of interest in your lack of reading the op it would seem.

    I wasn't sure. That's why I asked.

No more of a general sweeping than you made with the OP.

The story you linked doesn't mention the Tea Party. YOU do. It's your association, not theirs.

I said what I intended to say and was not trying to make anyone look silly, The OP claims an association is attempting to be made to those killers, White Supremacists and the Tea Party. But the linked article doesn't mention the Tea Party.

No more so than you can say there are no killers or white supremists associated with the Democrats. Of course, that's the party they were all affiliated with three or four generations ago, so it stands to reason some still are.

It's a stupid question. Let me know when you find something -- anything -- of a temporal nature that is 100% certain, willya?

That's why I asked the question because as far as I've seen there are.

As a majority of the Blacks and the Jews are there, it's more probable that they hightailed it into the GOP to disassociate.

So the answer is NO as I suspected. Just more partisan politics under the guise of something else.

I ask you to read the op - it is a quote in quote marks from the article that I read and quoted from.

MSN now has a different article on that link or the link got messed up when it was posted.

You might try reading the OP.

I might save you from asking embarrassingly stupid question. :wavey:

Hmmm.... association isn't important if it's Barack Obama with Jeremiah Wright and/or Bill Ayers. Yes, these talking heads have an agenda.

Their agenda is the same as is the agenda of those on the opposite side of them: to keep their side in power.

MSN has changed their first article. My link goes to the one mentioning Bundy now - if you look to the right there is an article list most popular - one is Las Vegas cop killers - that is the article I linked to however that article now links as does my link to the Bundy article.

There is nothing in the link that you posted originally that mentions the Tea Party. I read it a few minutes after you posted but didn't reply till later. But I didn't see any mention of the Tea Party then or now.

That is fine - accepted - does not negate validity of my copy/paste of the original article that is in quotes unless you think I am a liar. Nuff said me thinks.
