    Media Research Center President Brent Bozell issued the following statement this morning demanding the media report President Obama's lies, distortions and exaggerations delivered in his speech on health care reform last night:

    "Barack Obama will not stop committing serial dishonesty with the American people until the media expose his false figures and bogus exaggerations for what they are: fraudulent scare tactics.

    "Last night Obama told a litany of lies. He said the total cost of his health reform would be $900 billion over ten years, but even the government-run Congressional Budget Office found it would cost $1.6 trillion. He claimed his reform would not cover illegal immigrants or abortions, but nothing in any of the Democrat bills requires citizen verification and several organizations including the National Right to Life Committee have shown exactly how federal funds would be used to pay for abortion-on-demand. He knows these are lies and he tells them because he is confident the left wing 'news' media will let him get away with it.

    Brent Bozell - haven't heard that name in a long time. Remember him from my JBS days in the early '60's. "Conspiracy" must pay well. The right wing mantra hasn't changed since Robert Welch and neither has anything else.

    Fox News and Conservative Radio will be the only ones to expose Obama's lies anong with a few columnists like Sowell.

    Obama has already exposed himself as a liar. Why would we need the corporate media to tell us what we already know? Maybe the corporate run media could tell us something we don't already know like why does Obama and the rest of the corrupt politicians in Washington go on acting as if we didn't already know they were corrupt?

    For that matter why does the corporate run media go on acting as if we didn't already know Obama and the corrupt politicians in Washington are corrupt? Maybe it's because the same corporate folks who control the media control Washington as well? Well, we already knew that too! So I guess they can't really tell us much we don't already know.

    Well, if the Congressional Budget Office is saying Obama's plan will cost 1.6 trillion, then it will probaby cost 10 trillion or more. When has a government estimate ever been even remotely accurate?

    The media love Obama because they are for the most part brain-washed by liberal "higher education". They are a mindless bunch who walk step in step with the socialist agenda.

    You left out an important word. I said "liberal" higher education. Education is good, but when you have socialists brain-washing kids it is not good.

    Here is an old article from the Washington Post (a very left leaning newspaper) showing that even liberals know this.

    Yeah sadly enough that's probably true. There are folks out there who can tell me the stats from every football game their team ever played for the last 10 years but haven't got a clue as to who the secretary of defense is today.

    This is or at least used to be a free country. Conservatives could have chosen to become college professors. For whatever reason they didn't. What do you propose doing about this?
