Why not tell us what it means to you? You are certainly not going to believe me.

I don't have a problem with dramatic portrayals. My best friend's church does a passion play every year, and there's a fair amount of dramatic licence. Were it not, the thing would be four hours long, and it simply wouldn't work as a stage production. I know the difference between the biblical narrative and dramatic performance. Some people, otoh, try to foster "cinema theology", or "theatre theology". Kind of like hymnak theology, which I also don't subscribe to.
