    Michelle Obama's Hopeless America
    By Yuval Levin

By her husband’s logic, Michelle Obama must be a heavily armed xenophobic religious zealot, because boy is she bitter. The speech delivered by Mrs. Obama in North Carolina last Friday is characteristic of her peculiar recent performances on the stump. It is an hour-long talk to supporters who just want something to cheer about, and who get some opportunities at the outset, but then find themselves treated to a profoundly and relentlessly negative vision of American life.

If they don't like this country, why don't they just leave and find something better suited to them.

Too many freebies to go elsewhere.

One has to wonder just how much Wright's radicalism has infected Michelle.

Gloom, despair, and agony on me. I'm college educated, financially secure, married to man that may very well be the most powerful man in the world by being elected president of the United States of America in November, and I grew up in the greatest nation on the face of the earth. I think I'll just sit down an bawl! :tear:
After all I am a victim and you better not ever forget it. Just in case, I'll keep reminding you.

If he doesn't start muzzling the people in his life, he will have no chance come November. Voters remember these things.

I disagree. I don't think voters remember much else than what Cafferty, Olbermann, and the surrogate thinkers told them to remember last night. Obama could've weathered the Wright storm had he not fumbled himself and Wright had not grabbed the spotlight again. If Wright is anywhere near a microphone in October, Obama had better duck and cover.

The majority of Obama supporters don't care, he will win anyway. All they see is their chance to "Wright" the wrongs of the past.

The vicious antipathy expressed by people who are ambassadors for Christ Jesus toward Senator and Mrs. Obama is disgusting.

Conversely, the vicious antipathy against those who do not want Obama in office by you, MP and dragonfly is disgusting, even resorting to lies.

I lumped you in with the "liberal trinity" that have resorted to calling those who do not want Obama leading this country of "hating" him.

I believe that being for "No Obama Nation" is the right thing and speaking out against what Obama, his wife, and his former pastor believes - that being black liberation "theology" applied to national politics - is what Christ desires that we do for the preservation of our nation that He has so blessed us to enjoy.

Senator Obama is not applying black liberation theology to national politics. It is silly to even post such nonsense.

    How "Christian" of you.

Also, I am a libertarian in my political philosophy.

Has nothing to do with being a "christian"...but from what I have observed of the liberal posts from the three of you. I venture to guess I'm not alone in my observations.

That would suggest that Obama does not believe, support, nor apply the things that his church teaches.

The church that I attend teaches premillennialism which I certainly do not believe.

Your post is meaningless. It would be false for someone to assume that I am a premillennialist based on the church that I attend.
