Michigan union revenue plummets after state ends 'underhanded scheme'

    Essentially, family members caring for their aged parents or disabled children were state employees. What a crock! Former Gov. Jennifer Granholm, a Democrat, had overseen the ripoff, but when Republican Rick Snyder replaced her, he set about dismantling the scheme. About 80% of those subject to the "dues" stopped paying when they found out they didn't have to. SEIU collected $35 million from 2006-2012. They ought to have to give it all back.

    I agree, SEIU should have to refund the money.
