Bajaur (Azad Kashmir in Pakistan), November 3, 2006: One more underground missionary of the At Anycost Jesus Mission in Azad Kashmir named Jan Mohamed of 38 years old shot dead by the militants in Bajaur district in Pakistan on Tuesday.

Since last three years he was involving with the underground ministry in this region by giving family counseling, adult literacy, helping the poor and teaching Bible classes. Militants threatened him several times. But he boldly continued the ministry.

After Mondays air strike that killed 80 people, militants simply alleged him as a US spy and killed. And they made a false statement that he was seen near the bombed madrassa in Chingai, talking on a satellite phone after the attack.

The militants put a note left on his body accusing him of espionage. "We had suspicions that he had been working for US forces and the attack to the Madrassa confirmed that he was a US spy".

Another believer of Jesus Christ through the At Any cost Jesus Mission named Salahudeen (44 years old) also beheaded in North Waziristan district bordering Afganistan. He was an Islamic Scholar, but recently believed in Jesus Christ. His body was found in a drainage with a note that he was a US spy.

May God protect the brother missionaries of this godly martyr, and use them for His glory.

This is interesting...especially since Pakistan is an "ally" in the war on terror.
