I agree with Rabbi Abraham Cooper of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, who called the idea "mind-numbing" and likened it to the U.S Forest Service fighting a fire and calling in some of the arsonists who started to "help." In a complete and utter epic fail, in the same news conference these idiotic remarks were made, Kerry -- in Jerusalem at the time!!! -- lamented the crumbling situations in Iraq and Syria, terrorists in both wars having been funded and supplied by Iran.

Someone, please, tell me this is a "Monte Python" skit and we aren't really letting clowns run the government. PLEASE!! Tell me that.

    Great googly-moogly! What idiots!

Kerry is probably following the straight Obama line that talking to Iran will somehow undo what they did to Carter and what Iran has become today--an incipient nuclear power preparing to start an atomic war with Israel, Europe, and the USA.

Still spreading the "big lie" I see. People aren't as stupid as you think CMG. You showed everyone here that you have no proof to back up your claim Iran has an active nuclear weapons program. So what do you do? Admit you have no proof? No you just keep on making the same unverified claim. And you wonder why nobody listens to you neocons anymore. Show us some proof or give it a rest.

Bull#$%@, it's fear mongering such as this that will bring on a war, perhaps nuclear, if China and Russia are pulled into it.

Why can't you dispies give peace negotiations a chance? Neocons Dubya and Cheney snubbed their noses at Iran a decade ago when Iran made the first move toward negotiations, they blew it, they missed a prime chance because, no, they wanted a 'regime change'. Well, now, several trillion dollars in debt later with several hundred MORE uranium enrichment centrifuges in Iran the reality sinks in, we HAVE to negotiate with them.

Do you actually think we have the economic strength to invade and occupy Iran? Now?

Get real. Give the negotiations a chance. We really have no choice. Pray that it works. Pray for peace.

Yea, right d-CON, I would expect nothing less from you with your Likudnic agenda:

"“And as far as the Jews controlling America is concerned, look at it this way. If it isn’t true, you have nothing to worry about. If it is true, you’d better be very nice to us.” – Aaron Breitbart, the Simon Wiesenthal Center, Los Angeles,

My, my…what a difference one phone call can make. Obviously no one was expecting it in Israel where the Likuds have been scrambling around in a panic since Friday night. They had deployed all of their Intelligence assets to convert the loss of US intervention against Syria into putting wind back into the sails of the Iran nuclear program bogeyman. AIPAC crashed and burned again...."

Ever notice how CMG never goes back in our history with Iran before Carter? It's not like Washington wasn't meddling in Iran's affairs before that. No CMG just doesn't want people to understand how Washington's interventionist policy crushed any chance Iran had at democracy by using a false flag terror campaign to overthrow Iran's elected government to install a dictator friendly to western oil interests and helped set the stage for the rise of the mullahs.

Neocons like TND and CMG would rather not admit Washington's interventionist foreign policy is a mistake that causes more harm than good. They prefer to double down on the same mistake even if it means turning the USA into a failed bankrupt totalitarian state.

Neocons are insane. That's why were they called "the crazies" back in the 1980's.

    "The Iran nuclear program bogeyman"

That's what it is, fear mongering. Deja vu Iraq WMDs.

It's 'mind numbing' that there are those that don't see it.

They don't just not see it they refuse to see it even when it's in plain sight. Being seduced by war mongering mad men and being marinated in the false left vs right paradigm for so long has turned their brains to mush. Fried mush.

I have to give 'the left' credit here poncho, they are negotiating for peace. It's the ONLY thing I've appreciated from this administration, they've not propelled into another war that we can't afford. Iraq and Afghanistan wars, Bush put on the 'credit card' for our children to pay for, we've yet to feel 'the pain' from that. We going to do the same to war with Iran? Will China loan us the money to do that?

    Get real.

What scares me the most is that Iran is run by a theocracy. Plain and simple.

All the other nonsense bull aside, Buck is right. Iran is a theocracy, and as such believes it has divine guidance and blessing to continue the course it is on. Whether you think this has anything to do with premillennialism or not, whether you think we have any business trying to curb Iran's nuclear craving or not, having a country striving to achieve a nuclear option is dangerous to the whole world, particularly when the leadership of that country believes itself to be "divinely guided." Anyone who thinks Iran is not a threat to world security and peace while on this track, whether they have yet actually built a nuclear warhead or not, is beside the point.

The point is, they want one, and if they fail in constructing a nuclear arsenal of their own, their "divine guidance" will then push them to purchase one on the international "black market" from countries willing to destabilize balances of power in the region. The fact this administration is willfully ignoring the need to stand tough against Iran is indicative of that very destabilization, and is reason to question the motives and sanity of our own government.

Saudi Arabia is an Islamic dictatorship that supports terrorism and openly admits it is looking to buy a nuke. But that's okay because it is an "ally" and is Sunni Faux Snews' second largest shareholder.

Sunni Faux Snews. Reporting on all the snews the Saudi Royal family allows.

What does the fact that you are willingly overlooking the danger of the Saudi's support of terrorism and their wish to acquire a nuke say about you and your neocon buddies?

Your terrorist sponsoring Sunni buddies would like nothing better than watching American boys die in their Jihad against Shiites.

If the Saudis want Iran to be attacked so bad let em send their own boys to do it or go pound sand. American boys don't owe the Saudis anything.
