    We have a missions offering every first Sunday of the month during the Lord's Supper. It is there that my offerings go, and are then dispatched by our church.

    I support and have submitted myself to Baptist Faith Missions found online at http://www.baptistfaithmissions.org

    Here you can find there doctrinal statement, operations, locations of and current missionaries, etc. They do not send missionaries, only facilitate the ones called and sent through local churches. They do this through maintaining current national (USA) and International regulations concerning travel, laws etc. in the missionaries respective fields. They also receive funds in a general fund and particular (designated to specific missionaries) to forward to the missionary in the feild so all time, energy etc. is directed toward the mission work and not specifically upon raising support, though support is expected at least from the sending church, and any others, the missionary will be supported through the gen. fund.     My church (Grider Memorial Baptist supports this mission group).

    Barnabas: Way to go. That's a lot a organizations which you support - all good ones too. Very generous.

    Personally we support:

    1) Our local church
    2) One new church plant in our area.
    3) One struggling church in our area.
    4) Compassion Child
    5) Christian Research Institute (www.equip.org).
