Hey friends, just wanted to share with you something exciting that is taking place for 2 members of the Baptist Board.... My church in Missouri has entered into a partnership with TaterTot's church in Mississippi. We are going to be taking a mission trip there Oct 1-10th to help them do some work on their church and parsonage. Myself and 2 guys from my church are heading down there today to look over the situation so we will be better prepared for our actual trip next week.

I know that we would all appreciate your prayers! [IMG]

Returned safe and sound from our visit with TaterTot and her church family. They are doing well!

Tater is as sweet and kind in person as she is on here. I am sure she misses everyone and will be back around when their phone service is restored.

We will be returning next Friday evening for 10 days to do work on their church. Thanks for the prayers and please keep them up.

    Thanks for the prayers all!

I will pass along all of the thoughts and prayers to Tater and her family.

My family and I are leaving for Tater's place tomorrow afternoon and a group from our church will be arriving Saturday. We are all looking forward to it, and we are continually amazed at how the Lord works around us.

    Keep praying! [IMG]

We arrived back from our mission trip to Tater's church. We were able to put a new roof on their fellowship hall and on the parsonage.

We had a great week. The Lord worked all the details out in an amazing way. They have a great church there and some real special folks. Our church and theirs worked so well together, it was such a blessing to see the body of Christ working together.

As I mentioned in a previous post, Tater is every bit as kind and sweet in person as she is on here. It was a true blessing to be able to partner with them and help them in a small way.

Thanks for all of your prayers.

SBC---I was in Picayune a few weeks ago----from Poplarville all the way through to Picayune on I-59----you could see clear evidence of miles of tornadic winds---the trees are snapped off midway to the tops like you would snap a pencil in two.

I don't know the name of Tater's church---but I attended a funeral there at Goodyear Baptist.

Yes, the trees snapped off down there is just amazing. There is still a lot of work to be done in that area and we need to keep them in our prayers and be willing to help!

Hi!!!! I have seen this thread from a different computer but couldnt post. I have to say that SBC's church was amazing. They were just what we needed physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

SBC brought his whole family down here, and you should have seen all our girls playing together. They miss each other - it was so sweet. All 6 preachers daughters. All his girls are beautiful, with blonde hair and beautiful eyes. One practically lived with us the whole time they were here, lol. It was really interesting to meet him and his wife. I am not one for meeting internet people, lol, and that part was a little strange, but they were just as nice as I had thought beforehand. And yall, SBC can flat preach. (Sorry to embarrass ya, SBC!) Evenn my husband said so, and he doesnt say that very often.

Anyway, thank you all for praying! I missed you all and am so glad to be back.
    Tater

Thanks for the nice compliment Tater, you are going to embarass me.

It was an honor to get to preach at your church and serve along side of you and your people.

I pray God continues to bless your ministry in great ways!
