I have read some posts where people are concerned that some of us "mock" other religions. So I wanted to ask a question. 1Kings chapter 18. The contest between God & the prophets of Baal. Verse 27 states... "And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked." Also, dumping all the water on the altar could be seen as mocking, although I like to think it was done only to show God's might. But verse 27 is clearly Elijah making fun of the false prophets. I cannot find any scripture where he repented or was chastised for saying these things... So...was Elijah sinning by saying what he said in verse 27 ?
