Mode of Travel

Would always rather take a boat. But I can't get many places in a boat... but those i can get to by boat are worthwhile.

 

I'm a farmer, so I prefer a pick up truck.

More room, both inside the cab, and in the bed to carry things.

Besides that, you cannot get anywhere in a boat from here!

If you could, it would have to be in an ark, and after 40 days and 40 nights of rain, at that. :laugh: :laugh:

Car....limousine to be specific.

However, I haven't had that opportunity since my senior prom.

 

Before I went blind, I had a 64 Oldsmobile. It was my favorite!

(Sure, it rolled down one hill and had trouble getting up the next, but the radio worked!)

Sounds like my old Coastel Kinardly, I used to drive all the time. :thumbs: Coasts down the hill but kin' hardly make it up the next one.

You'd pull into the gas station and say, "Check the gas and fill up the oil!" :laugh:

Car. With me driving. I'm a terrible passenger.

I would prefer the car to be a 1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS, my favorite car ever until the engine died. Or, better yet, any of the muscle cars from the late 60s/early 70s.

 

I picked car and truck - we have both.

But, I'd rather "beam" form one location to the other (like Star Trek, you know!).

 

I said car, but i guess it really depends upon the distance and length of the trip.

 

SUV

I drove a GMC SUV for years and years and years. loved it -- whatever version it was. I was about to get another one before the current one died, but our GMC guy moved to the mercedes place. He was looking for me a GMC. I'd gone over there and driven a few that he'd found for me, but one day he called and said, Bitsy, I've got a 2006 mecedes that I can make you a good deal on. I said, NOPE, I'm not even going to drive it. I like my GMC SUV.

Ron said, Just drive it. Go ahead and just drive it. Famous last words. He did make us a good deal on it. Sweetest thing I've ever driven.

ccrobinson, I had a 1977 Monte Carlo and it was red and I was 18 . . .

 

My favorite mode of travel is a ship -- that means I'm on a cruise!

 

Roller Coasters... how come that wasn't a choice ? :laugh:

 

What I like best about the Montes of the 70s and 80s is that distinctive long front end.

Actually, I think I would. I have a heavy right foot, and I'm a pretty aggressive driver.

I was going to mention TARDIS, but I didn't know if anybody besides you would know what I was talking about.
