Moderator Bias

She wasn'r biased and she conducted her role as moderater better than a lot of others I have seen in the past.

 

That is good to hear. What happened with that e-mail you sent about her choice as moderator?

I agree.I have seen too many moderators of past debates show a lot of bias and even snappiness at times.Gwen was one of the best I have ever seen.

I find it amusing that you usurp what I write and make this attempt to send it back to me.

But since you are writing with such authority on this book in the initial post, please show us SPECIFIC EVIDENCE to support your claim, citing the page number in the book where there is "unabashed support." Hey: you made the claim, Revmitchell. It shouldn't be that hard.

There is absolutely nothing here that would indicate "unabashed support."

Did anyone else notice that there wasn't an option to vote if you thought she was Bias to only Biden?

 

The book has not yet been published, and she claims the chapter on Obama has not yet been written.

As to the moderation, I didn't see enough of it to know, due to more important issues, like spending time with my family. As a rule, PBS leans leftward pretty strongly, and Ifill (from what I have seen in the past ) is no exception. But it is possible for someone with a political view to be fair. It was a bad choice in retrospect, but since she apparently didn't disclose what she was doing it was unknown at the time.

 

I don't see a lot of Moderator bias displayed.

Dr. Bob and I would likely disagree on Calvinism, for one example, but I've never been admonished in any way over this.

And although I do think that C4K sometimes may be a wee bit hasty in shutting down threads, I don't think that there is any malicious intent involved, in any way, especially in the Bible Versions and Transl... ? What??
