I'm sorry. I was just curious because in politics usually one side accuses the other of playing dirty pool, while claiming to be "clean". I find it humorous because both sides in American politics always play dirty in one way or another. It's a built in dishonesty. Thanks for your input.

That is a whole other subject. What I find is that when the left can no longer defend their position then they point fingers at the right and say we all do it.

Thats why I am glad to be neither left or right or middle. I look at it from the outside and laugh at the hypocricy.

According to mandym, the republicans can do no wrong, and the democrats can do no right. This simplistic thinking has inundated the church.

It appears that no matter how many women come forward, these republican apologists will just look the other way and blame it on the democrats, the media or who knows what.

Remember when the National Enquirer broke the John Edwards' story, and how even the moderator here disparaged the story, because of the source. Turned out to be true.

If you are a democrat, you can act like Bill Clinton. If not, you are held to a different standard.

Well, there just may be some folks laughing at you, as well.

But it is good to know that all of your "Jesus love" stuff is hogwash. I figured it was.

How would you know his "Jesus love stuff is hogwash?" Are you saying he doesn't love Jesus, surely not!

I do know that he discusses theology, which you seldom, if ever do. I guess politics is more important to you than theology, right.

Hey Robert, let's talk about the subject, shall we ?

    You said
Forgive me if I am mistaken, but I think I have seen you voice support for Clinton. Surely you must be aware oif the number of women who accused him of abuse. Was that the media's fault, or his political opponents ? Again, if I am mistaken, forgive me.

But I am sure most everyone on this board kinda views you as having a real short memory. Or perhaps a selective one.

Could you show me where I said I supported Clinton's indiscretions?

Also, this support you say I have for Clinton; did I ever state that I supported him knowing that several women had come out with accusations while he was running for office?

What you did is accuse republicans of blaming the democrats & media for Cain's problems, (straight out of Hillary's mouth) and you have also expressed glee that his political career is over. Even if you didn't support Clinton, (and he was accused of rape, not just "indescretions") surely you cannot say one side does it, and not the other ?

Surely you aren't denying that Herman Cain blamed the democrats for these allegations?

    http://2012.talkingpointsmemo.com/2011/11/cain-blames-democrat-machine-for-allegations-of-sexual-harassment.php

From the article: During the press conference, Cain stated unequivocally that the accusations against him are false, and further said that he does not remember meeting Sharon Bialek, the latest woman to accuse Cain of unwanted sexual contact — at one point saying that “the Democrat machine in America has brought forth a troubled woman to make false accusations.”

I will ask you to show me where I expressed "glee?"

I did however say that I was against Cain's 999 plan. My exact quote was (Politics Foum. Cain in Big Trouble: Gloria Allred has Jumped on the Bandwagon! Post #25) : "It will be nice to get to the bottom of these many allegations. But, either way, this will no doubt hurt Cain badly. I don't want to see anyone falsely accused, but I will certainly not miss his 999 plan if this keeps him out of the presidency."

I said this in another thread (Politics Forum. What will the republicans do. Post #12: "You know that both parties are interested in only one thing and it isn't governing, it's getting reelected. They will say anything to anyone, promise anything they have to in order to get the votes needed to be in power. When they are elected and don't fulfill their promises, they blame the other party."

You can't do that, Robert...you blamed his APOLOGISTS, and named Mandym in your post.
Kinda nueters that one, eh ?

You haven't said you hoped these accusations would end his run ? You haven't said you were glad when you thought they did ?

An apologists is one that seeks to justify someone else's actions.

    Noun: apologist
    1. A person who argues to defend or justify some policy or institution

    [WordWeb.info]

If you think that the republicans, such as Cain hasn't attempted to pawn this off on the democrats and the "liberal" media, after trying to pawn this off on Rick Perry, you are naive.

I said I hope the truth comes out. Do you care about the truth or just what allows you to bash others.

If Cain was innocent, which I doubt based on the number of complaints against him, he should be exonerated. However, since it is fairly obvious that he is guilty, he should drop out of the race. My complaint against Cain has always been his 999 plan.

It would be refreshing if Cain would clear the air, admit he was a perv, drop out and move on. The governer of New York admited to buying prostitutes and now he has a TV job.

It is a shame that the left wing media wants to destroy an innocent man in order to distract from the Presidents failed record and torture his family this way. What is equally wrong and unChristian is the slander folks are willing to buy into because of ideology.

Yes that's what they said when the New York Govnr story was first broke. "He is being bullied by left wing media!" Then he confessed...oooops.

It is this simple minded emotion filled garbage from the left that brings in people like Obama. Choosing a President needs more careful thought than this.

Don't you find it a bit odd that given the number of accusations against him and all the news conferences held by accusers that don't want to give any details...

That there is still no proof?

    Just accusations.

If any of these accusations were true shouldn't there be some sort of proof?
