I think his 999 plan is a disaster, that is why I think he will be out of the race. Why is it so difficult to see that the issue I have with Cain is this policy, not his personal life.

No, the accusations are just enough to distract from what is important and place a question mark over Cain. They are not intended to actually produce any proof.

    OK, I stand corrected.

Because of the subject of this thread and because your statement of "glee" was immediately preceded by this statement of yours:

I simply do not believe you meant Cain and his team when you said "aplogists". I believe, based on your history, that you were talking about people who vote republican in general, and Mandym in particular, (and I know she can fight her own battles, this isn't about her). I do not care what kind of hateful names you and your friends call me, I think you made a nasty, hypocritical, partisan statement, and are now trying to play it off.

This all boils down to Curtis. Every time he enters a thread confusion follows.

If he could understand the English language most of this would never happen.

I was responding about what mandym said, I never tried to deny it. Then he slithers in and here we are.

Regardless of the confusion, Cain is finished. I am glad because of his ridiculous 999 plan. Now, if he did these things he has been accused of by these women, he should be held accountable. If he is innocent, he should file a law suit and charge them with defamation of character.

If what you say about your intent is true, then it will be evident in future posts.

As far as Cain goes, I would rather him be brought down on issues.

I agree. Regardless of whether or not I or anyone else likes him, he should not be falsely accused, especially of something of this sort.

We had a youth pastor many years ago accused of child molestation. It ruined his life. He was put in jail for a year or two, was granted a new trial and eventually plead guilty to keep from spending several more years in jail. He is now a registered sex offender, and his life is tragic. I say it is tragic because I don't think he was guilty. My son was a teenager in the youth group during this time and he told me that the boys that accused him were lying. He said that this pastor never did or said anything to him improperly nor did he know of him doing so to anyone else. I know him and his family and I believe my son is correct.

Once even an accusation is leveled against someone concerning anything of a sexual nature, innocent or guilty, they are never looked at the same again.

I believe that is the whole purpose behind the accusations against Cain.

Didn't it strike you as odd that the first woman claimed that she wanted to give details but could not because of the settlement agreement...

And then when released from the non disclosure agreement suddenly no longer wants to talk about it...

Except to give press conferences restating her accusations?

What are some of the issues(maybe) that can bring Cain down??

I mean, I'm just asking----my daughter(age 19) will be voting for the first time in Presidential elections and is swinging toward Cain

Personally I am a "Newt" supporter

Where can I go to see some of the deciding issues that may weigh heavy on a "Yea or Neh" toward Cain for her???

This is the argument good people are hammered with each time a Democrat's moral character comes to light. Time to hammer back.

    Hi Blackbird....

First he proposed an electric fence across the border. I know he said it was a joke, but it didn't sound like one.

He was way in over his head in foreign policy questions. Very early on.

He has said that the Patriot Act is 90% right-on.

He has needed to clarify his stance on abortion several times.

He will be another tax & spend liberal.

Look, I like the guy, the same way I like all successful businessmen. America would be better off with more Herman Cains, and less Barak Obamas. But he will end up needing that money the left keeps coveting, as much as any democrat. He's not that kind of leader.

Is there a possibility that depends on whether one is going IN or OUT through it?

Just scary ones.....again, great businessman, but remember, he is wishy-washy on climate change. I don't trust him.

But Mitt took on the Big Dig unions, even making one of their engineering failures a crime scene.

No. Clinton's, or any Dem's, dalliances are excused as irrelevant to his qualifications to govern. What's good for the goose . . . (no pun intended.)
