You know, the one who took the "oath" on Thomas Jefferson's Quran, the one some of us were alluded to as being bigots, trampling on the constitution, etc., well, here's an update and no doubt there is more to come...

My premise holds true, that once muslims migrate to America and form a large enough community, they will elect muslims to office which reflect their religion, islam, and thus use our constitution and way of life against us.

Tune into the radio show tomorrow for the details.....I've seen some web articles about this terror link, too.

It may not be to much to worry about with just one Muslim in Congress, but then we have Obama running for President with his Muslim upbringing, and who knows where his sympathies really lie. One Muslim in Congress may not have too much sway but we've let one in the door which means there surely will be more to follow. What threat lies in wait when 25% + of Congress is Muslim? If liberals have their way that scenario could well happen in our childrens lifetime. One is way too many for my liking.

Obama didn't have a "Muslim upbringing". That was a lie.

Such a choice for certain people this year. With a woman and a black man running for president, they don't know who to hate the most.

Why did he call for the release of Sara Jane Olson? Does it have any thing to do with his being Muslim?

As long as we have to abide by the "political correctness" this country rings so high on, this is going to become a nightmare, or the end of this country. We don't have a Christian solidarity to combat this like the Muslims do. They will not speak out against their own, but unite to gain the world, and we're letting it happen here.

Yeah, the Sunnis and Shi'ia have united to conquer Iraq - then the rest of the world! That's a united front all right.

And what of the fearsome Sufis?

It isn't political correctness, it is our Constitution. You know, that document that says there shall be no religious test for public office? Remember that one?

They may have divisions between them, but one thing they are united on - the overthrow of the West, including the US and Israel, to rule the world under the flag of allah.

BTW, welcome back Olive. Long time no see.

Yep, and CNN was saying that it was a Clinton lie. . . .

I hate having to agree with you . . . 'cause now you're gonna write about how that was a personal attack . . .

    Oh well . . . it was a lie.

Our Constitution keeps the state out of the church and that's a good thing. It's up to Christians voters to get Christians into office and that would be a good thing. As a nation we'd best follow the one true god - that's God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirt - if we desire to continue with His blessings.

Dragoon, you have presented the correct solution.
We can not discriminate against who should run for public office based on race, gender or creed but the best way to prevent our fears from overtaking us is to vote for other Christians while we are still the majority.
I will not vote for a Muslim or a Morman or anyone outside the Christian faith but neither will I deny them from running for office if they choose. Our Constitution is our best guarantee unless we allow it to be trashed.

I can think of no surer way to trash our Constitution than to put people in office whose alligance lies with that which is completely against the God whose principles our Founders based our Constitution upon. Seems to me those aligned against our God include more than just Moslims. I believe liberals pose just as great a threat to the original intent of our Founders. Christians still have the power to make sure godly people lead this nation and it will be our fault, our moral confusion, if we allow ungodly people to lead this nation any further into the trash heap. I believe America is a stewardship God has placed into the hands of His people and we will be held accountable for what we do with it.

That silly old thing keep getting in the way.

What were our founding fathers thinking when they decided that no religious test was to be required. I guess they were a bunch of politically correct liberals.

If they had only posted on the Baptist Board we could have sorted them out!

I wonder what else we would have changed so it would NEVER be politically correct?

Of course, in reality, this is the only answer. Thanks for the reminder Dragoon.

Odd that the apostles didn't feel it necessary to tell their followers to get control of the Roman state.

They must not have understood Jesus as well as we do...

Israel was God's chosen nation and He disciplined them often when they ran after other gods. When I read the Mayflower Pact and the quotes and original intent of our Founders, it's clear to me that God also raised up America as an instrument to further reveal Himself. The Founders designed America to be a very Gospel friendly nation, and it's been about the only nation that God has used to protect His chosen people Israel. Our Founders stated our Constitution was intended to govern a Christian people ruled by Christians. They believed that was the only chance it had to continue as a good nation.

did you ever think it is our fault?

Hey everyone did you ever think it's our fault what is happening in the gov. right now? Oh, I don't mean ours personally (although it is partially). I am talking about Christians as a whole. We have stood by:sleep: and haven't really done anything to change our nation. May I suggest reading Abandonment Theologyby Chalfant? Oh, and by the way, lets get out there and do something about it while we still can instead of merely talking up a storm.
