    Haven't heard of that one. But I have heard of the Motion Picture Production code.

    And I wish we had something similar in the film industry today. Yes, it censored a lot of the garbage in the entertainment industry and I'm not so sure that was a bad thing.

    Part of the MPA code says:

    "We refuse to permit the effort of Communist, Fascist, and other totalitarian-minded groups to pervert this powerful medium into an instrument for the dissemination of un-American ideas and beliefs."

    On the page you linked, it shows Charlie Chaplin as one of the SIMPP founders. Is the MPA part of this SIMPP? If so its ironic because I'd heard that Charlie Chaplin really was a Communist and wound up leaving the USA because he hated it. :confused:
