Ms. Magazine "We Had Abortions"

The use of abortion pictures and videos puts the spotlight on the humanity of the child and thereby makes a powerful statement. It is intellectually a dishonest argument for anyone to take the position that the child in the womb is not human nor alive. The images are horrific, but they are necessary to use if we expect to stop the shedding of innocent blood in the womb. These images have shifted the mantra of the pro-aborts from "It's only tissue" to "My body, my rights, my choice!" The truly sad thing about the report in this thread is that there are some who are proud of the fact that they had an abortion and killed their child. For many in our nation there is no shame whatsoever and all kinds of perversions are "coming out of the closet" and parading their sin openly, angrily and brazenly. God have mercy!

 

And that is exactly why N.O.W. fights militantly against using pics and vids in public. And in the state of Florida they have fought against pro-life liscence plates.

 

The former pastor of FBC, Dallas, W.A. Criswell was one of those. For him it was an issue of when God breathed into that baby the breath of life. I could not imagine him supporting abortion in any way.

 

When God blew in the breath of life into Adam, that was the first man. Babies are already taking oxygen into their system in the womb -- fish "breathe" underwater -- and babies "breathe" in the womb. When they leave the womb (are born), then their lungs take over and they breathe. God enables all this, of course, but I do not think God is breathing the breath of life into babies as they are born the way he did with Adam when he created him.

In week 12

My point about the fish is that we are defining breathing as using lungs to breathe air, but there are other ways to take in oxygen.

How can anyone deny that an unborn baby is alive?
