He received a failing mark in an MSNBC unscientific online survey after having spent less than two months in the White House.

In its "Give President Obama a Grade" survey, MSNBC asked more than 73,000 repondents, "If you were grading Barack Obama on his performance as president, what would he get?"

More than half of all respondents – or 57 percent – gave Obama an "F."

Only 19 percent said the president has earned an "A," while 7.9 percent gave him a "B," 5.4 percent answered a "C" and 11 percent said he has earned a "D."

One more thing this survey said was:

"Nearly 56 percent of the 1,500 voters somewhat approve of the president's performance, while 43 percent disapprove.

According to the report, Obama's Republican opposition has doubled since he took office."

Polls show Americans confident in Obama

President Obama continues to ride high approval ratings, and Americans think he is moving the country in the right direction, according to two new polls released Wednesday.

The polls also show Democrats are riding Obama’s popularity, as an equal number of respondents in one survey approve of their job performance as disapprove.

An NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll found that six in 10 approve of Obama’s job performance, and that positive view is influencing American’s outlook on the direction of the country. More than two-thirds say they are more hopeful after seeing Obama’s leadership and plans for the country. Sixty-one percent said they believe it is either very or fairly likely Obama will bring change to the country.

That mindset also led to a steep jump in whether Americans believe the country is on the right track. In Thursday’s poll, four in 10 said the country is heading in the right direction, up from 26 percent at the beginning of January and just more than one in 10 last October, before the election. A plurality of 44 percent, however, still believe the country is going in the wrong direction.

I think this MSNBC poll is being manipulated. It's totally inconsistent with the results from much more reliable polls such as the one described in this article.

So MSNBC is being manipulated to show America opposes Odrama? Not likely. What is most probable is all others are being manipulated.

Ridiculous. The other polls I cited were controlled by the company doing the polling. First of all, you can vote multiple times in online polls. secondly, it would be easy for someone to organize an effort to throw the poll way off. I say look at all the polls and get the answer by doing that.

Yep. That's exactly why I did it and put a laughing face after it. It's called humor. It's, I say, I'ts a joke, son. It is also why I said "Can't resist", as if I were compelled.

I thought MSNBC was in the Liberal media classification. Did you guys convert one? Or did Rush send his listeners to the poll?
