I like some classical, country musical from the 60's and earlier, big band music, Lawrence Welk (for the few here who have heard of him), waltz music, polkas, and Irish music. My absolute favorite is southern gospel quartets.

I like contemporary worship music mostly. Not CCM but worship stuff.

I like some classical, some older jazz, don't know what it's called, but the 1940's type stuff, you know Andrew's sisters kind of thing. Some older country, 50's, 60's, 70's rock, christian compemtorary and praise and worship.

I personally like Broadway Musicals, classical music and the old hymns,,,,,,,,,,,mainly I like to understand the words being sung.......and leave the drums at home! The old time singers had bands in background and they didn't have to compete with the noise.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Probably like country and late 50's thru early 70's rock best. But with country going more pop, I choose artists like Alan Jackson, the George's (Jones and Strait), and othert more traditional country.

I also like anything Frank Sinatra did.

I selected classical and other. By classical, I mean classical vocal like Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban but I am also a fan of pure instrumental music like Zamfir.

The others that I prefer are movie soundtracks, trance/techno and chill-out/trip hop (fusion of hip hop and techno).

All but southern Gospel, some R&B and sea-rap (my personal name for rap music -- figure it out).

I checked CCM, but not sure if that is really a genre. Just since it's "contemporary" CM doesn't mean it's good music just like if it's "old" CM doesn't mean it's bad music -- and vice versa. But I do like "good" CCM.

I ran into an old friend this weekend -- hadn't seen him for years and years. Found out that he is an opera singer and sings at the MET in New York, as well as Chicago, London, etc. Have to admit -- that is singing.

I am surprised that people "like" country but not southern gospel.

I am the Iotola of Rock 'N' Rolla.

Most of what I like is rock 'n' roll music. I wanted to break it down even further.

I like most 80's music. I like Journey, Billy Idol, & Duran Duran.

I like classic rock (music from the late 60's until about the early 90's). Some of my favorites are Foreigner, .38 Special, & some Jimmy Hendrix.

I like 80's metal music (the kind of music that Mom & Dad would always say, "Turn that down!"). I like Alice Cooper, Dokken, & Van Halen.

Some of my favorite groups / artists are: Paula Abdul, Gloria Estefan, Jon Secada, Billy Joel, & Santana.

I'm not crazy about country music. I have been known to tolerate it. I like listening to Charlie Daniels. That's about as country as I get.

I love jazz. I hate Southern Gospel. I wish it would die a death by waterboarding. Worst music ever. Theologically impotent and musically appalling.
