This may not be a first, but I had the idea to throw out a site I have in my favorites and consider a valuable reference. It is refdesk.com. It is full of many other links, some useful and some perhaps useless, but many worthwhile. Check it out!

I'd like to ask everyone who has been in the cyberworld for any length of time who also has found some great sites to ante up and share too! Might be interesting and beneficial for all. This is open season, meaning the the site you wish to share can be of any nature as long as it doesn't violate our Baptistboard.com policies. I have enjoyed discovering great religious, astronomical, educational, historical, humorous, technical, etc. sites so I can hardly wait to see if there remain some which I have yet to see. Shalom! Check out www.thinkgeek.com for a change of pace...really neat computer nerd stuff.

Check out www.retrobox.com. They resell used business computers. A lot of good deals to be had.

Following is the definition of this service!
"This public service is cooperatively provided by the two time agencies of United States: a Department of Commerce agency, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and its military counterpart, the U. S. Naval Observatory (USNO). Readings from the clocks of these agencies contribute to world time, called Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). The time maintained by both agencies should never differ by more than 0.000 0001 seconds from UTC"

If you are a time freak,(always want your watch to be within =/- 3 seconds of "perfection"), this is the place to go!

Yep. I have a wristwatch that receives that time signal and resets itself to that time three times a day.

    For Websites, I like:

    www.slashdot.org
    www.howstuffworks.com

Also most of the christian ones already listed.
