...As American courts uphold the blasphemous removal of the phrase "Under God" from its Pledge Of Allegiance - true believers in America are quickly realizing that they are in the belly of the Beast of Revelation...

Since this commentary contains inaccuracies, I consider the whole to be inaccurate. The 9th circuit ruling regarding the pledge has been stayed pending review by the US Supreme Court. Until then, the words remain in the pledge as they have for 50 years.

Of course, the commentary makes no comment about the fact that the phrase was added to the pledge relatively recently, as was "In God We Trust" on our money.

Of course, we could resurrect the whole Muslim/Jewish/Christian arguement and say that the "God" in the pledge and out money is not the God of the Bible, so should be removed. But imagine the can of worms I'd be opening then

Rev 13:1-2 1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

The first beast rises up out of the sea. Water, in prophetic symbolism, represents peoples and nations and tongues. "Rev 17:15 15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues." This beast arises in the midst of multitudes, and nations and tongues.
Verse two says that the beast has different body parts from the leopard, the bear, and the lion. the dragon is the one who gives the beast his power and authority. The leopard, the bear, and the lion, are the same three animals that depicted beasts, or kingdoms in the book of Daniel. We know that these three beasts represented Babylon, Medo Persia, and Greece. The next major kingdom or power in the earth was Rome. The fourth beast of Daniel 7 was Rome, in both it's pagan and papal form. This first beast of Revelation is also Rome, for it rises out of these other nations, and tongues, and peoples that we already know to be the same as those in the book of Daniel 7.
The fourth beast of Daniel 7 was also dreadful and powerful. It also had ten horns just like this beast does. Verse 21 of Daniel seven says that the fourth beast made war with the saints and prevailed, so also this first beast in Rev. 13 is said to do the same," Rev 13:7 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindred's, and tongues, and nations."
Verse 20 of Daniel seven says that the fourth beast had a mouth that spoke very great things. So also the first beast of Rev. 13 has a mouth speaking great things," Rev 13:6 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven."
The fourth beast of Daniel seven also came out of the sea. This sea is a place of peoples, and nations, and tongues. It is what we now refer to as Europe. The fourth beast of Daniel was Rome, and as is made obvious by all of the similarities, the fourth beast of Daniel, and the first beast of Rev. 13 are one and the same. That is to say Rome, in her pagan and papal forms.

I think you have wisely described the moral climate of our beloved nation, though I somewhat disagree with your concept of the Beast/Antichrist. Daniel prophecies of the different beasts have nothing to do with this unique and world predator who will soon be unleased on our world. The beasts of Daniel's prophecy have to do with major nations namely, The Babylonian Empire, the Media-Persian Empire, The Greek Empire and the Roman Empire who have ruled the world and now on that image that Daniel interprets we are down to the feet of said image. The ten toes will be the last ten nations of the revived Roman Empire that will rule the world under the dastardly predator called the antichrist. The end of all human wicked civilization will take place when the Rock/Stone [Daniel 2:35J] comes rolling down out of the mountain and destroys that image, which speaks of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. In verse 44 Christ our Rock will 'set up a Kingdom' which clearly speaks of Christ earthly, Millennial theocracy which will be on the earth for 1,000 years. [Rev. 20:2-7] Six times God makes reference to the 1,000 years. Yes, we are in the Kingdom of God now as Christians, but this future Kingdom will be Christ's also but notice He has to 'set it up.' The Bible clearly pictures the antichrist not as an indomitable nation or a woman, but a man. Revelation 13:18c pinpoints the antichrist as being a ' . . . man.'

Revelation 13:1 ' . . . a beast rising up out of the sea' is the antichrist. A second beast appears in verse 11 has the nature of a 'lamb' who may well be a leader from the apostate church that is left on the earth when the rapture of the true church takes place. He is going to point to the first beast, a great and mighty world leader and tell the peoples of the world to worship this 'antichrist.'

Many times as we study Scripture, as you know, the Devil tries to counterfeit the things of God. In Revelation we see the opposite of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The antithesis of God is Satan, the counterfeit of Christ is the Antichrist, and the corresponding opposite of the Holy Spirit, our Teacher, [John 14:26] will be some conspicuous religious figure.

 

When I buy toilet paper at Costco, I buy the bulk packaging which contains three rows of 6 rolls each, which equals 18 rolls per package.

Although Toilet Paper is mentioned in Revelation, I will continue to use it.

I see what you are seeing in our nation. Is there anything we can collectively do to turn some things around? Sometimes I feel like this is about all I can do. John 5:28-29 28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

It is clear from the verses above, that both the wicked, and the saved will be resurrected. One, to the resurrection of life, and the other to the resurrection of damnation. The next question to be asked, is when, will these resurrections take place, and do they occur at the same time? The scriptures answer both of these questions.

1Thes 4:13-18 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

The scriptures above point out that Christ’s followers will be raised at His coming. They will meet Christ in the clouds, and will be with Him forever. Verse 14 says- “ 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.” If we believe that Christ rose from the dead with a body, and went to heaven to be with His Father, then we can know, that he will do the same for us. We will be brought to heaven, body and spirit, with Christ, and will ever be with Him. This is the beginning of the thousand years reign with Christ. So what about the wicked, what happens to them at Christ’s coming? Let us examine the scriptures to see what Christ’s second coming means to the wicked.

2 Pet 3:7 7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

2 Pet 3:10-13 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Zeph 1:14-17 14 The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.

The wicked, and all of their works, will be destroyed, by the brightness of Christ’s coming. When the Lord Returns, those who are Christ’s will go with Him to heaven, to reign for one thousand years. On the other hand, the wicked will be destroyed, along with all of the works of this world, at His coming. This is why Satan cannot deceive the nations any more during the thousand years. There are no nations, or people to deceive during this thousand year period. The Devil is bound to this desolated planet for one thousand years, with no one to deceive, because all the wicked have perished. He will be left to ponder the results of his own workings.

Rev 20:1-3 1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Rev 20:4-6 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Again, those who are Christ’s, reign with him during this thousand years. However, the rest of the dead, that is the wicked who perished at Christ’s coming, live not again until the thousand years is finished ( verse 5 ). They did not take part in the first resurrection which took place at Christ’s coming, they are not blessed and holy, and they will die the second death ( verse 6 ). The wicked will take part in the second resurrection, which takes place when the new Jerusalem comes down to the earth at the end of the thousand years. It is at this time also, that Satan is loosed, and allowed to deceive the nations again ( verse 3 ). Of course, now Satan will have people to deceive again, because the wicked will have been raised in order to face their judgment, and die the second death. Satan and his followers will surround the city to attack it, but God will devour them with eternal fire.

Rev 20:7-9 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

It is at the end of the thousand year period, that the New Jerusalem descends upon the earth. All the saved will be in it. When the wicked try to take the city, God will destroy them by fire. At this time, God will create a new heaven, and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. Sin and it’s originator, Satan, will be eradicated, never to appear again.

Rev 21:9-10 9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

Rev 21:22-24 22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

European Union is the 10 horned Beast from which anti-christ will arise. Whether America is in the belly of that Beast or not is an interesting idea.

I agree with your post. Do you think that the antichrist has to be a Jew/Israelite since some of the Jewish people, will accept and worship him as the Messiah?

 

If I may....

I believe the Anti-Christ will have to be Jewish, since he makes a peace pact with Israel, and I really don't see them dealing with anyone who isn't Jewish.

 

However, dealing with the subject of the thread, I don't like numbers games. Like Johnv said, you could use it to make anything evil.

 

That's what Hal Lindsay ued to say. Back when there were 7 nations in it, he asserted that there would be ten, and no more than ten, nations, and that it was the "ten horned beast". He turned out to be wrong. Come to think of it, he's been wrong on numerous occaisions. So now, I've come to the conclusion that if Hal Lindsay said it, then it's most likely going to be wrong, based on his past track record.
