    Very interesting! Thanks for posting the link. I think the final anonymous poster had a good point (though he might have said it more graciously) when he wondered why a Catholic was criticizing Baptists with all the problems the Catholics have nowadays.

    Actually, if we took the time to look more at some other religions, we might see our own more closely.

    A number of years back, I worked with a Muslim in Pakistan, who was "converting" to Christianity. He feared his own family more than anything, including his life. Then, it took another 6 months just to connect him up with our Baptist missionary in Pakistan. Each party had to be so careful about physical connections. I never dreamed that their lives were actually at risk until I experienced this time of witnessing. The good news is that after 4 years,,,yes, 4 years, this chap finally accepted Christ, separated from his family and got on with life. His business partner was Muslim, but was a truly good friend and did not hold it against him.

    Gives one a whole other view and appreciation for missionaries. God bless them all. It is never an easy go. I met this chap first on another general chat forum. Pays to be clear who you are online.
