but you have the Title of Pastor and have a flock and congregation

"It doesn't really bother me since I don't know him and don't take this board very seriously in terms of personal relationships. He and I have political disagreements and too often those cloud people's responses and judgment. I wish he would back off a little and look at substance and read things a bit more charitably and with less of a chip on his shoulder than he does. But some people are just given to be negative about everything and he may be one of them. It's one of the reasons I don't participate here a lot anymore."

but you have the Title of Pastor and have a flock and congregation, and perhaps it is wise that you do not participate since you seem jaded and a congregation does not need a jaded Pastor to meet their needs.

take care and good luck in trying to meet the needs of your congregation.

Yea, if it were the Democrat ticket.

Seriously neither McCain or Powell are really republicans. For that matter neither is Bush, well Bush may be a republican but he is certainly no conservative.

I wish our republican leadership would figure out that the reason they are doing poorly is not because they are too conservative but because they are too liberal. They try to act just like the democrats and then wonder why they have no support.

Get used to it. He does this all the time. At least he's consistant. Right PL?

If you can't come up with a good rebuttal to your opponents points...point out your opponents weaknesses to make yourself look/feel stronger. Old hat stuff. Boring and not at all original. Probably learned it by watching neocon talk show hosts. :sleeping_2:

Oh yeah and Ken, I wouldn't vote for Obama if all the hems in the whole wide world got together and swallowed me up. Double goes for McCain! I'm an American and as such I'll vote for an independent and sovereign USA over a NWO and it's frenzied flag waving urgent emergency usurpations every time!

Consistent at pointing out truth and letting it fall where it does. I don't play favorites with it.

Isn't this what you did in this post? You couldn't offer any factual rebuttal, so the only thing you can do is attack me.

    But true nonetheless.

I don't know any neocon talk show hosts, and I don't watch them or listen to any (unless you consider Paul W. Smith or Jim Rome a neocon). So here, as often, you are simply in error, talking about something you know nothing about.

I am not jaded in the least. I am not even sure how that term fits into this conversation.

Thanks. I do take care but I don't need luck to meet the needs of the congregation that God has given to me to pastor.

This is for any McCain supporters

What do you think of Tim Pawlenty? I've seen his name come up on quite a few VP lists. I think he could be very promising. But I don't know much about him.

Let's try starting a new thread on this topic and maybe discuss it without personal attacks. As such, this particular thread is closed because of personal attacks. LE
