Not that I'll actually be missed, but my wedding is in two days so I won't be around for a week. And i'm already on such a lack of sleep I can't think straight. I've called the same person three times to remind them of the rehersal time all within an hour

God Bless, don't fight too much in my absence.

    Love,
    Adam

    Adam,

Be sure not to make this same post two more times. [IMG]

Mother Mary, keep Adam and Teresa in your mantle; guide them in chastity and purity, and give them your heart and love as they embrace their Christian vocation for the ultimate glory of the most Blessed Trinity.

    Adam and Teresa,

I'm so excited for you. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I know that you too really love each other and have a wonderful life together ahead of you. Jesus Christ is most certainly at the center of this union, and I am positive that it will be one of peace and joy. I will be there with you in prayer!

Your brother in Christ the Lord,

    Grant

Thank you for the good wishes. Only one day more and I will no longer be a single man!

Any last minute advice or humor while I go crazy getting everything ready?

    Just remember these two rules:

    1) Don't sweat the small details.

    2) They are ALL small details!

My prayers are with you and your bride on this holy day.

    In Christ,
    Catholic Dad

If you both are believers in Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, remember this:

Love is a triangle, God is at the top where the lines upon which you are related to him join. Each of you are joined by a line between you. The three lines make up the triangle.

The closer either of you gets to God, the shorter the length of the line that joins you, or the closer you get to each other.

So, if both of you are getting closer to God, you are by the very nature of God getting closer to each other.

If either of you goes farther from God, you separate yourselves from each other.

When speaking about hunting and fishing, the way to approach it is with the words "I'm going". Of course you also better have a soft couch.

    Blessings

Last minute advice? This wedding is YOUR party! You and Adopted are the guests of honor. Have fun!

Now... Always be best friends. Don't give 50/50%!! Both of you MUST give 100% and you'll have a wonderful life.

Congrats from Jim and Diane Tavegia [IMG]

Yelsew's comments about marriage as a triangle are very good. On a little more practical level, if you give in to her 90% of the time, and if she gives in to you 90% of the time, you'll be OK!

And, from my own experience, when you have children you will gain great insights into God and His relationship with, and His plans for, His own children.

Thank you MikeS, and well said about the relationship of a father to his children.

    Adam:
I can't come up with any better advice here. May God bless both of you and may you have many children to bring you even more happiness and joy.

    God Bless
