N.C. Baptists expel

    Ok, unlike the other thread, this one is more concise and I agree. Remove them from the Christian fellowship since they will not repent of their own sin and change. Why keep them in fellowship when they willingly walk outside of scripture, the Spirit of God who wrote the scritpure, and thus unhindered fellowship with God. What fellowship does truth have with lies, light with darkness, sin with righteousness? Answer: None.

    Therefore there is no need to continue fellowship with those who will take to themselves those who continue in sin and then they would also place them in positions of leadership.

    This does not mean their being removed would not be reconsidered if they repent and change their current view to one that is actually biblical, and so be brought BACK into fellowship. But if they will not (which they would not) change, it is only biblically right to remove them from fellowship.

    I thought that Myers Park stepped away from the state. Apparently there are several churches across the state who have been separated from the state because of homosexual issues.
