I have only lived in California, Georgia, and Ohio. However, at the present time I live in Ohio, go to church in W. Virginia, and work in Pennsylvania. I guess that is a new definition diversity. :D

I was born and raised in Indiana.
I went to Tennessee for my first year of college.
I finished my undergraduate work at Christian Heritage College in California back when Henry Morris was still the president.
I lived in Indiana while I was doing my graduate work in physics at Ball State University. I then taught science at a Christian school in Indiana for several years.
Now, I live in Wisconsin as a science professor at a Christian college.
Next, I am looking to going back to Indiana to work on my doctorate at Ball State.

Footwasher, I had a friend in Kelowna, BC. He was inviting me so many times to go there and visit, but could not find time. He said that it is a very beautiful place. They had a large apple orchards. The climate is pleasant, the people are friendly.

This friend of mine (now gone to be with the Lord) was escorting his wife on a missionary tour to Bolivia. His wife being a doctor was acccepted by the Canadian missions board, but he wasn't because he was considered old. When they were in Bolivia, he was entertaining the children as they came for treatment with their parents. When he had a group of 10-15 kids, he opened a Sunday School for them. As the parents came also, he preached to them the Gospel. In this fashion he has founded a handful of churches in Bolivia but left the natives in charge. When the Canadian missions board heard about his capabilities, they reconsidered his status. They served many years in Bolivia until due to ill health of his wife they were forced to return to Canada. Although originally they were living in Toronto, they settled down to Kelowna on doctor's orders. ;)

But that's not where I live. I'm a BC'er. I've always lived here in BC, although I've lived in different towns.

Hey Gina, I LOVE road trips. When are we going? [IMG]

What part of BC? My husband was born in Vancouver. His parents lived in Armstrong (north of Kelowna). His mom is in a nursing home in Abbotsford. We take lots of road trips up there. [IMG]

Since I am a "mountain" man, I learned to love BC very quickly. In 91 spent the fall holding meetings up in Dawson Creek and St George and Vanderhoof and down in Surrey and Vancouver.

Never made it across to the gardens at Victoria; will save that for a trip with the bride some year (when we cruise up the inland passage).

Really nice people. I was speaking and holding rallies for Christian Education (private schools, etc) and found MOST in that region were in non-baptist churches.

Learned a lot of praise and worship music that I still haven't heard in baptist churches 10 years later!!

North Carolina, Virginia (I grew up on a farm that was partly in North Carolina and partly in Virginia, right on the state line), Missouri (Basic Training), Indiana (Army), Virginia (Falls Church), California (Monterey), Germany (Augsburg), Virginia (Arlington), Korea (Seoul), and Virginia (Arlington).

I was fortunate, though; I had a job in which I it to made 49 states (all but Hawaii) and 47 countries. But now I am old, fat, and lazy, so no more road trips for me.

Born in Ohio and lived in: Ohio, Michigan, Back to Ohio to Indiana, back to Ohio. All of which had one thing in common. WINTER WITH IT'S ICE AND SHOW! Which explains why I now live in the beautiful sunshine filled rolling hills of Central Florida! Through it all, I have lived in the wonder state of GRACE.

As a teen/early twenty something, I traveled all over and spent a few months at a time in a couple of different places but here is every place I've ever actually lived-

    1. Pleasant Grove, Alabama

    2. Gulf Shores, Alabama

    3. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

    4. Mt. Ephraim, N.J.

    5. Key West, Fla.

    6. Austin, Tx.

    7. Telluride, Colorado

    8. Newark, De

    9. Georgetown Md.

    10. Mt. Ephraim, N.J.

    11. Cozumel, Mexico (winters only)

...and I spent summers in Co. Galway, Ireland as a child.

I was in a band with some guys who wanted me to move to Hickory, North Carolina with them. They ended up playing with Ricky Skaggs and I ended up working at the post ofiice. Do'oh!!!
