Sorry, everybody, but there is no review of Phoenix.

We were at a birthday party for my 5-year old at his grandmother's, and the race was on, but I didn't pay close attention to it and didn't take any notes for a review.

Jimmie Johnson gambled that he had enough fuel left and stayed out in the last few laps when the leaders had to pit for a splash and go. The gamble paid off and Johnson won the race.

Jr. had another solid night with a good finish, but it looked at times like he had the car to beat. I hope he gets to victory lane soon.
