If you weren't such a bitter tea-cupping Obama hater, you would realize how well his plan is taking care of you.

Paul, you know me well enough here, to know that is toungue in-cheek, but with the new civility, and all.....

I can only offer prayer, and you have that. You also have those Everlasting Arms to lean on.

    Thank you for sharing this.

Just be careful not to call the Health Care "Bill of Goods" what it really is - a manifesto of eugenics, abortion and euthanasia or you will be accused of causing the Tucson massacre.

    Ah, brave new world...

What do you mean "the government's system"? Medicaid?

No, I want to hear your understanding of the 'government system' for health care. If people get "pushed off private health insurance", as you say, where do they go?

The plan was to create the public option - where employers could dump employees when they dropped medical insurance as a benefit for employees.

The demoncrats didn't get what they wanted.

The plan was and still is to get the public option or a universal government run system.

They are still working on it - give them some time.

Rising premiums will result in fewer people having the coverage - and that will increase the demand for a public option or universal government run system.

That is what the demoncrats are counting on.

So there isn't any government plan right now. So if people get "pushed off private health insurance", as you say, where do they go?

With Republicans in control of the House for at least the next 2 years, it is unlikely to happen in the next three years at least, though it does seem inevitable.
