Featured National PIZZA Day ... what is your favorite kind of PIZZA?

    That's right. Today is National Pizza Day, and in celebrating the PIZZA, what is your favorite kind of pizza, and what tastes best on top of that delicious hunk of dough?

    Enjoy the day. Get a pizza for lunch or dinner?

    Oh, my favorite is a large Pizza Hut, pan crust, meatlovers with triple cheese. Of course a few weeks prior to my cholesteral blood tests, I do not add the extra cheese.

    New York pizza is the best pizza ever. :) I love a good slice but I also love a few that some of our pizza places make: Chicken marsala is mozzarella and chicken marsala on the top and it's fantastic. Greek salad pizza is also great - a sicilian crust with a Greek salad on top. Finally, nothing beats a good old garbage pie - a loaded New York style pizza. :)

    Since this is in the Baptist Section, are we talking about pizza served in the church fellowship hall? *laugh*

    My preference. I am not picky. Nothing Hawaiian, Taco, or Vegetarian.

    And I enjoy Chicago style bread casseroles, but they ain't pizza.

    I usually make my own but if I buy a brand name I like self rising DiGiorno cheese with extra cheese (mozzarella which I add before putting it in the oven).

    My wife makes a wickedly good deep dish pizza too. So, homemade is another favorite.

    Deep dish, Yes.

    My grandmother made deep dish pizza before it was called deep dish.

    Are any of you aware that under the title of Pizza is a grave subject that deals with a great evil? Up to 30% of Congress may be involved and prosecuted, if not executed. Sessions is now in office and we will
    be seeing thousands rounded up --including celebrities.

    Is New York style crust the thin crust you fold over on itself, or is that Brooklyn style crust?

    I'm a basic pepperoni, sausage, extra cheese.

    BTW, Thursdays is pizza night in our household so we synch up with the day.

    I don't know that I've heard of Brooklyn style.

    I had thin crust typed out in my response, but switched to NYC to avoid confusion with some of the "crispy" thin crusts that are out there. Which I also enjoy.

    Romas, Pizza pie, baked in oven 45 minutes, 2 slices fills you up!
    Also like the Huts chicken one!
