    Nature is a good teacher, not only in matters of public decorum, but also in the eternal power and godhead of Christ.

    The problem? Men are blinded by sin. It's still no excuse.

    Restroom story: we were on the way to Berlin...it was the week that the Wall came down. We stopped at a rest area. The bathroom was completely stainless steel--the bowls, sinks, a grate floor, the cover over the toilet paper, etc. ALso...there was no roof; it was open. There were sprinkler heads mounted over the top. Apparently, they just "wet down" the whole room to clean it. That brought up the question...

    HOW ON EARTH ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO SIT DOWN ON FROZEN STAINLESS STEEL?

    You might never get up...or you might be like the kid in "Christmas story" with the flagpole. :eek:

    This disturbed us the rest of our time in Europe.

    I would bet that people would get in and out quicker and not sit and talk while others are waiting.

    To all you baptist Bible deniers: How do we know how long is long....John 16:13. How do we know that nature teaches....Romans 1:18-20. The Word of God is clear as crystal even to the purging of our conscience...Hebrews 9:14. Maybe we should spend more time in the Word of God and less time on here mocking it.

    I certainly do not deny the Bible, but the question of how long is long is a valid one.

    I think maybe a more appropriate verse would be:

    1 Cor. 6
    9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
    10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.




    There are other verses in scripture which state that men should be men and women should be women. We are not to blurr the qualities and characteristics of the sexes.

    How long does a man's hair have to be to be considered womanlike? Or how short does a woman's hair have to be to be considered manlike? I really don't know. But I can tell you that I've seen many men who most definitely were effeminate who had very short hair.


    Edited to add, I think Paul wrote about hair length due to the time in which he lived. It was common for prostitues to shave their heads and wear wigs, so Paul could very well have been addressing this problem as well as many other sinful behaviors involving sexuality.


    What nature teaches us is the difference between male and female. I don't think our knowledge of that has anything to do with hair length, but more to do with lifestyle.

    No one on Baptistboard is a Bible denier...

    Fox must be confused and meant to post this on another online Baptist board...


    If Fox is not confused, then he or she is very mean, calling people bible deniers... actually that would be bearing false witness... and surly must be against board rules....

    But let's give Fox the benefit of the doubt.. he didn't really mean to post this here on BB.

    Someone take Fox's bible away, he is abusing it... and leading people astray.. there is nothing in those verses that talk about hair length...

    Ok, "how long is long?

    Think, if a woman surprises you that she is actually a woman after you thought she was a man by how short her hair is, you've answered the question.

    Just as you would also answer the same question by thinking a man was a woman by how long his hair is.

    These observations could be from any side, but mainly from the rear. Facial features can help determine the difference between male and female, but in Tiny Tim's case?:tongue3:

    Dear TT, The Holy Spirit is the greatest barber in the world! I would see how you can't discern that from the Scripture. Some of us don't get our little power point sermonetts from the SBC every Monday in the mail. You need to study a little bit, remember these are "dark days" brother :tongue3:
