Wow, The Bulls are in the drivers seat but I still think the Pistons come out of the East...

Thanks AF, please keep doubting the Bulls.....

I wouldn't be so sure though, the Bulls won the season series with the Pistons this year.

    I can't wait for a Pistons/Bulls matchup!

That was before the Pistons are playing like they are now.

I to am looking forward to a Bulls Pistons series. It reminds of years gone by.

    Rightttttt

I could say the same thing, the Bulls are playing their best basketball since the all star break.

The Bulls Pistons series will be good. I hope the Bulls win the series...but I hope the Pistons beat them up pretty good. I like the Cavaliers' chances against the Bulls, but we do not match up well with Detroit. That's if the Cavaliers don't get upset by New Jersey. There were times this season they gave us fits, too.

Miami is gone, stick a fork in the Mavs - they are done. I could not believe that with an 8 point lead with 4 min or so to go, that the mavs would cough it up - but dirk kept throwing up bricks. I have never seen him so uncomfortable shooting - GS has him completely off his rythm - his arms and legs are flying everywhere - and the shots are lucky to draw iron. The two devins (harris and george) are completely innefective, and Josh howard who was great in the first half was completely nonexistent in the second half..

Can you tell that I am not happy with myself - staying up till midnight to watch that mess!

At this point, I would be embarrassed for Dirk if he won the MVP - during the regular season I thought he should win, I now hope that Nash wins it again.

I cannot believe the Mavs are down 3-1. Dirk looks like a deer in headlights the last few games. But I wouldn't count em out yet, they are capable of coming back.

    Doh!

I thought you were the Mavs fan. Yeah, you're team is on its way to the 2nd round.

    Sorry about that.

I was thinking of Jimmy C.

I agree, it's a huge shock! Nelson really knows how to game plan for them.
I would say Miami getting swept is a shock.
I would also say that my ADD stricken Cavaliers being up 3-0 is a little shock...much more if they sweep tonight.
I want a Cavaliers Spurs Finals. Mike Brown and Ferry know their players and game, and the Spurs know the Cavaliers tendencies. I think it would go 7 games, with the Spurs winning in game 7.

    Thanks CC

we are back on triple suicide watch around here - I think the best thing for us would be a mavs loss to go ahead and get it over with in game 5, no sense in dragging it out.

Stars done in 7, mavs done in 5, rangers already over - of course in Texas there are really only two seasons - football and spring football :)

I hear you, Jimmy. The worst part about this series is that expectations were so high. I think the Mavs will gut out a close win in game 5.

Jimmy, If the Mavs lose this series, what changes do you expect to come in the offseason?

Whew! My Spurs are barely getting by but they sure show up when they need to. The Suns and Spurs 2nd round matchup will be a barnburner!

There's a reason the Spurs kept an old guy, by NBA standards, around like Big Shot Brob.

They should, but it is going to take Dirk perfoming like an MVP - he is going to have to score 30-40, and the Mavs are going to have to play some D on Baron Davis - for three games in a row.

Avery is MAD at the Dirkster right now after some of his statements - you have to take what they give you etc - Dirk HAS to take it to them!
