Who do you like to win the championship? Here are my predictions for the entire playoffs.

    1st round
    Celtics over Hawks
KG won't let them lose to Atlanta

    Mighty Pistons over 76ers
76ers will surprise them, but they don't have enough to beat the Mighty Pistons. (I've decided I'm going to start calling them the Mighty Pistons, because the last time I said anything remotely negative about the Mighty Pistons, I got ripped and, though it wasn't in so many words, I was basically called stupid for suggesting that a team was better than the Mighty Pistons. So, I figure if I call them the Mighty Pistons, I won't get called stupid again.)

    Magic over Raptors
    Not much to say here.

    Wizards over Cavaliers
I think the Cadavaliers got worse after the trade.

    Lakers over Nuggets
I think the Lakers might sweep them.

    Mavericks over Hornets
I used to think the Mavs were soft. When Dirk came back after the ankle sprain, it seemed like they somehow became tougher. I'm not sure how this happened, but I think they'll beat New Orleans.

    Suns over Spurs
I think Shaq will make the difference in a hotly contested series.

    Jazz over Rockets
    Not much to say here

    2nd round
    Celtics over Wizards
I think this will be a fairly tough series for Boston, but they'll advance.

    Mighty Pistons over Magic
I'd like to see the Mighty Pistons lose, but the Magic aren't good enough to be the ones to do it.

    Lakers over Jazz
I think the Lakers roll over the Jazz.

    Suns over Mavericks
If the Mavs really are tougher somehow, the Suns can match them in toughness and are just better.

    Conference Finals
    Celtics over Mighty Pistons
Shh! Please don't tell anybody from Detroit, because I don't like being called stupid, but I think Boston is a better team than the Mighty Pistons.

    Lakers over Suns
There's no way that Kobe allows his team to lose to a team that has Shaq on it.

    The Finals
    Lakers over Celtics
You know what will be really cool? To hear the Celtics fans chant "Beat LA!" during the Finals when the series is in Boston. Too bad it won't be in the Boston Garden, but you can't have everything. I think the Lakers having the best player will overcome the Celtics excellent team defense, although I would like the Celtics to win because they were my team in the 80s.

The Nugents? Who are the Nugents of which you speak? Do you mean the Nuggets? If so, then this is my thought about them winning them championship.

i'm having 80's flashbacks!!!! As a 28 year Lakers fan, i'm picking them over the Celtics in the finals...which is the way it ended the last time they faced off there (Lakers in 6, 1987...Magic's skyhook to steal game 4!).

we are Nuggets fans....but we have to agree. The key players of the Nuggets don't play defense.....the biggest downfall of the team.

Lakers will win. Sad, but true.

Yep, that really sucks we can't play any defence and can't out score our opponents. Bad combination. How about Mello and his DUI? He came just shy of blaming the arresting officers of causing a "distraction" to the team...

I know. Melo is SO self filled. AI too. Let something like what happened to NeNe happen, and watch the change in the self-centeredness.

Kleza and Najera are my favorite players.

Some of the NBA players make me SICK, they way they tatoo up and act so.....so.....you-know-what. I wouldn't be a fan if I had to base it on character.

Anyway, I can focus on hockey right now. I have met some of the Avs, and they aren't so full of themselves.

Mavs must win in New Orleans tonight, they come back 0-2 and I think the series is over. I have laughed at talk radio in these parts, talking about how the Mavs must control Chris Paul - HELLO, nobody has controlled Chris Paul this year - he is one of my top 3 for MVP (kobe and Granett are my other 2)

    Go Dirk - Go Mavs

    Suns down 3-0.

Pistons lose again to the 76ers :)

Josh Howard admits drug use in offseason on game day.

    Interesting day.

Some teams don´t matchup up well. For some reason, Detroit has always had trouble with Philly. Also the Pistons are there own worst enemy. They almost seem to get bored and think they can just coast.

Mavs lose - Avery Johnson fired as coach today.

He started out strong, but the team has really fallen off since blowing a 2-0 lead vs Miami two years ago. Last year, best regular season record - then golden state. This year 51 wins and New Orleans.

Avery is a class guy and I hope he latches onto a good team

Word out of Chicago is that Avery is at the top of John Paxson's list and he will be interviewed this week.

I really like Avery, but I worry he and Skiles are too much a like.

I do not expecting that Boston/Atlanta series are already into Game 7! I thought, Bostons would have sweep Atlanta fore sure. But, Atlanta fight back against Boston wow. But, I know Celtics will win Game 7 in Boston this Sunday for sure.

Go Hawks! Wow. That is all I can say. If they pull off the win in Boston, this will be ranked as one of the biggest upsets in NBA playoff history without doubt.

I just love it! Almost as good as seeing the Pistons move on.

There is a rumor flying around that the Mavs are interested in Flip Saunders. I would hate to see him leave the "D".

Interesting. A coach who can't deliver in the postseason going to a team that can't deliver in the postseason. Sounds like a great match to me.

And, if Atlanta beats Boston tomorrow, that will easily be the biggest upset in the history of the NBA, surpassing last year's Golden State upset and Denver beating Seattle in 1994.
