Need a Source for SBC giving numbers...

    I am looking for a reliable source for the most recent SBC annual financial giving report. I do not need CP giving figures as they is readily available on SBC.net and at that various state association/convention sites.

    I am only interested in finding out what the total amount for all domestic SBC giving was for either 2005 or 2006 (ie what churches received).

    Good luck with that one. You can't even find out how much the outgoing president of NAMB received once he was fired. Any report that is about the churches of the SBC is given voluntarily and usually not very accurate.

    I heard a figure from a seminary professor that total SBC giving was around 9.6 billion. I would love to find data to confirm that claim.

    Not all churches report that figure.
