Need prayer from the brothers and sisters here...

    Need prayer regarding my work situation.

    An EXTREMELY unethical manager has been getting rid of long time employees, who have many years of wage increases...and then bringing in replacements who will be paid much less. (It might be upper management making him do it...economy, etc.)

    Anyway, it appears that I might be the next victim. (I have worked here for 24 years.)

    If it is any consolation, my son-in-law faced the same situaton. The three top sales people were let go. Fortunately, my Gary was sought after and hired by a Canadian company working in the South.

    All the very best to you as you see employment at a very tough time.

    You've got it.

    Whether it is the manager or upper management doing it it is still unethical. The devil uses everything he can to try to tear us down, though.

    Hey there everyone. :wavey:

    So far I am still employed. Praise the Lord.

    But...a co-worker just lost her job a few days ago..they found a ridiculous reason to let her go..and she had been working here for THIRTY years. I was told she sobbed and sobbed right there at her workplace until she left. It just makes me sick. Our revenues are down and they are being very "cut throat" about it. Its scary. In normal circumstances I wouldnt be so concerned. I have a very excellant work record and referances. But with the economy being what it is, its just hard to get a job if you lose yours. They are all taken.

    Anyway, I keep the thought in mind that my Father ownes the cattle on a thousand hills, and He can laugh at a recession.

    Thanks again for the prayers.

    And please pray for the woman I mentioned. Her name is Leta

    Dear Heavenly Father, we want to pray that You will meet the need of a job for
    Leta. It is so hard to not feel angry and hurt for being let go after 30 years of employment at the same place who are letting you go for one ridiculous reason to release you because of the financial situation. But we pray that You will give Leta the ability to forgive them and to move on to the next place You have for her! In the precious of name of Jesus. AMEN
