Q Stanley, why do you define Hurricane Katrina as negligent homicide?

Negligent homicide is the only accurate definition that describeS the rescue and recovery operation of FEMA in Hurricane Katrina aftermath phenomenon. Our government is suppressing the news media et al. from informing the general public to avoid criminal investigation of our elected civil servants et al. Instead, it has supplanted the false and misleading exculpatory phrase of "lesson to be learned" to cover up its atrocity. If the rescue and recovery of September 11, 2001 didn't teach FEMA a lesson, then nothing will. The only lesson that American voters can learn is that our Truth Commission is NOT being truthful.

Our executive government has farmed out the legal enforcement of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to the bar association of lawyers. Our poor American citizens of New Orleans et al. were deprived equality of treatment for civil services during the period of a dire crisis. The end product has led to the infamous fiasco in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The billions of dollars collected or earmarked for the victims have been abused or wasted. Yet, our Inspector Generals, for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services et al., has yet to file any criminal charges to prosecute the complaints of the displaced victims and/or family members. The red ink for the poor lower-class sacrificial lamb of New Orleans' et al. is greater than the middle class workers of Enron. They lost all that they had plus, suffered human casualties.

Yes, the federal government led by President Bush, the Louisiana government led by Governor Blanco, and the New Orleans government led by Mayor Nagin all performed horribly in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

And when the day comes there are terrorist attacks in multiple cities across America, we can expect it will be every man or woman for his or herself. That's the lesson I learned from it all.

Just as long as the rich and powerful are protected, the rest of us can hang out to dry, so to speak.

And the biggest failure in this debocle was Mayor Ray Nagen.

I can't shake the image of all those unused buses sitting in flood waters.

If there are to be negligent homicide charges, they have to begin with Mayor Nagin. He failed utterly to institute the city's own plans as the first responder in times of disaster.
