The monarchy in Nepal has been voted out, ending its 240-year-reign.

The Maoist majority has given the royal family a fortnight (two weeks) to vacate the palace, which will be turned into a museum.

I realize many people in Nepal hated the monarchy, but I suspect they will suffer even more under a Communist government.
