Why are the new circuit city ads and firedog ads taking up the whole page? There are bouncing remotes and tv's jumping around the entire page while I'm trying to read the posts. I though members didn't have to put up with such ads?

I thought it was just me. These ads are extremely irritating! :BangHead:

I have firefox and I purposely don't have adblocker. I want to see the ads - but my goodness. It did take me a minute to realize that a new tab was opening and I hadn't lost the BB to Circuit City . . .

I am sure you know this already, but if ads on certain sites bug you, then you can install Adblocker and have it only run on certain sites, or only block certain ads. It doesn't have to be an all or nothing thing.

I like Adblocker, but like you on some sites I have it display the ads because that site does them in a tasteful way that doesn't interfere with the site itself.

Thanks Jamie! I have done this before, but when I upgraded the last time, I decided I didn't want to miss anything - you never know what you might be missing!

There are good things to know about sales at Circuit City. I just couldn't figure out at first why they were preempting the new posts!

Installed Adblocker and my system crashed, twice. Had to system restore.

Or, maybe, the powers that be could do something about these ads...

I'm tired of waiting 10 seconds for the ad to go away before clicking anything.

    Mods? Admins? Any plans?

I've got to say once again - I don't mind the ads. I understand their purpose, but these are really intrusive. AND I shouldn't have to do anything to keep them from creeping down the page.
