Congratulations to all of you. As a retired moderator (due to time constraints), I want to assure you that the cameraderie (spelling?) is the biggest perk. The rest is work! God bless you all.

    Baptistteacher asked:
I have been accused of being a flagrant multiple poster - in fact there once was a suggestion made - that had I not been involved in such spurious activities - I'd have only one post!

Now - I'm not going to defend myself (very much - that is) - but I will admit to having had a lot of fun - doing something like what I've been accused of!

My main defense is - that another - more experienced moderator - taught me all I know of the subject.

Back to the question you asked - "Behaving myself" would be a ceasation of all activities such as I have talked of in this post!

    Blackbird ,
I believe that you are sincere and have Jesus as your standard.
However I would like to know if there is a standard that moderators have to go by.
Is there anyone that moderates the moderators to enforce fairness.

I'm not blackbird, but the administrators and ultimately the webmaster monitor the moderators.

Atestring, the moderators have a guideline we agree to and sign. We also have a forum where we guide each other, make decisions and address concerns.

    We're only human! [IMG]

But Massdak! It's not done that way! Majority rules my friend! You'd only have one vote.

Unless of course (to misquote my Dad back in The Day), you are the Webmaster then your vote counts for one more than the total number of Moderators. ;)

Or as President Lincoln told his cabinet when they were unanimous in their opposition to his proposal - "The nays being eight and the ayes being one, the ayes have it." [IMG]
