I'm a production asst. on this show. The writer welcomes comments & opinions on the work-in-progress. The music is not online yet, due to rights issues. What we're concerned with now is Scriptural accuracy, character development & plot development.

Since this is the Baptist Forum, you folks are an important sounding board. It's in pre-production, a critical point for your input.

    It's called "Revelation - The Musical" - http://www.vojo.com

The story and the songs point to today's societal chaos and warn of the prophesied "man of sin." It is written from a pre-Tribulation Rapture viewpoint, albeit a speculative fictional ("what if?") one, so if you agree with that, please read it and comment.

If you DON'T accept that pre-Trib doctrine .. well, it will just get you irritated, so don't bother.

The goal of the production is to proclaim the one Truth: that eternal salvation comes only through faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus, the Son of God, as atonement for our sins.

    Yours in Christ,
    Max Terino

I'm still not finished with this play, because I had forgotten to read the lyrics to all the songs as I read (you have to "click here"), which I'm now doing. They are VERY socially activist, from a conservative point of view, and based on today's news of the pro-abortion rally this weekend in D.C., I'm beginning to appreciate the writer's songwriting skill - while the liberal doctrine has been promoted in the past by Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Pete Seeger & the like, conservative songwriters were ignored or marginalized.

Let me quote something on this website's "Pen Is Mightier .." page about his political point of view:

"Vojo was inspired in part by the role of international religious terrorism in moving world governments into a defensive posture against an elusive enemy, paving the way for the prophesied final dictator, who will be a "man with a plan" to bring peace to a war-weary world. In addition, God's guiding principles have been eroded from American life by the consistent actions of activist courts: God's name removed from schools, government, courts and homes; legalized murder of unborn babies; legalized pornography; sex and violence permeating entertainment; and homosexual marriage, all of which have decimated the moral underpinnings of our society. America was once the standard bearer of God's Word; it is now the stronghold of the enemy's moral cesspool. Satan's unrelenting war against Jesus the Savior is evident in both domestic and international news every day, and the pace quickens. The songs are not "feel good" ditties; they are pit bulls against an immoral majority ."

I love that last statement. [IMG]

If ever there was a sign that our Lord Jesus Christ is returning soon, it is the depths of American morality today. The Supreme Court, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, the A.C.L.U., abortion rights activists & all the other groups that tell kids today that "everyone else is doing it" are signs of the end times. America will be relegated to a backwater dead end, no longer the beacon of God's Word in an ungodly world, as the "man of sin" makes his appearance and the rest of the world cheers him on .. because he has a plan for peace.

This play is bold in laying the blame at the feet of those liberal trash spreaders, who claim they are protecting the "rights" of others, when they are not standing up for God's Laws. While Muslim fundamentalist terrorism may be the spark, our own country's lack of morality is laying the foundation.

To the writer of this play & songs: [IMG]

My opinion is that there is a rapture before the tribulation period of 7 years, after which Jesus Christ returns to claim His Kingdom.

This stage production follows that sequence of events. People will disagree with them, I'm sure. But at least they're out there doing something.

"For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Thessalonians 5:9

I have finished reading this now - finally - I'm not much of a computer type. I highly recommend reading this. It tries to encapsulate pre-Trib & the 7 years of the Tribulation into one stage production. That in itself is almost impossible, but (in my opinion) he creates a vision of the future that is SURE to be.

The play is designed for churches to put on, so check it out & see if it works for you.

The more liberal dogma I see tossed out, like so much fertilizer from a farmer's spreader, the more I respond to people who have the ability to articulate the Christian point of view.

This writer uses fiction, as an artist uses a palette, and the colors are characters who are in his imagination. The lyrics of the songs, some of which are glove-across-the-face shocking, throw the gauntlet down to all liberals: repent, obey God now, or pay the consequences SOON!

Evolutionists receive a proper smack in the kisser, as do school boards cowed into keeping even a whisper of God's name out of classrooms.

I read this play a month ago, and just re-read it. The writer has added some scenes. I assume he has another job he has to work at, and can't do this full time. I recommend this show to be presented in BOLD churches.

It may shock some, who don't want to talk about Revelation, as there are many who don't want to think about the final, inevitable confrontation with Jesus to answer for their lifestyles.

To Vojo, the writer: keep at it! [IMG]
